For years our refineries had been experiencing yearly turn around maintenance that runs into hundreds of millions dollars without commensurate result of oil production. But at the twilight of Obasanjo's regime in 2007 to avert further waste, he sold Kaduna refinery to Dangote at a give away price of $165 million dollars. The following day after Yaradua was sworn in he revoked the sale!

Kaduna oil refining has not improved. But the yearly turn around maintenance continue till date running to billions of dollars.

Wrong! Obasanjo did not pay off Nigeria's debt, rather his Minister for Finance Mrs Ngozi Okonjo Iweala was responsible for all the efforts that led to Nigeria’s debt cancellation. Our debt was 30 billion dollars and 18 billion us dollars was forgiven thanks to Ngozi Okonjo iweala . It was not paid!
