Was strolling down Facebook, I came across a post about domestic violence... Going through the comments, the screenshot attached caught my attention. I was so pissed I go all out on the man. This is a man who if I'm not mistaken he should be in his 50s/60s.

I'm still trying to understand his comments, perhaps you guys can help me out cause all I see is madness.

To an extent he's right . But the bible further states that Christ has called us to peace . And if separation will bring peace ,so be it . But to remarry is going contrary to what's written in the bible

God's covenantal design for marriage is broken by abuse.Scripture does not mandate that an abused wife must remain married to an abuser!God designed marriage to be a covenantal relationship through which spouses could experience companionship, physical relationship, respect, love and caring.on the contrary abuse and neglect are condemned by scripture and can break the marriage covenant. When this happens divorce is permitted due to the hard-heartedness of the abuser and as a legal protection for the abused!!

The man is talking madness. Marriage is a case of husband and wife against the world. But if the 2 do not agree, then it is 1 against the world!

The writer of that screenshot is on his/her own. After Bible teachings, there's common sense. Common sense support separation and shuns domestic violence

The truth is that before getting married requires the wisdom of this wicked world first and not trusting in Jesus, who was an invented messiah by the Roman empire about 2000 years ago. Gullible people walk into a marriage they should never have done but instead they will say in Jesus name it will be alright. marriage is a thing of this wicked world as Jesus has said that at the resurrection there will be no marriage, even though Jesus ate fish after His resurrection to show that after the resurrection some things of this world are still allowed but marriage no way because you have to understand the wisdom of this wicked world first before you look for a partner to marry so that once you notice the demon in them you do not say in Jesus Name there is nothing to worry about, but instead you will run away from that person faster than Usain Bolt.

As Christians no matter the verbal abuse we receive from faithless people it shouldn't affect us because we have the tongue to condemn all school of thought! Isaiah 54:17 compare to Luke 12:11-12

But when it turns to physical abuse Jesus commanded us to FLEE! Matthew 10:23

So the same applies to a Christian whose marriage is filled with physical abuse note it PHYSICAL not VERBAL. Because we know why they're saying whatever since they can't find a better performing group than what we have! Matthew 7:16-18

PHYSICAL or VERBAL abuse are as bad as each other FLEE. Marriage is an institution created by satan. God does not find you a partner, if you find a good partner it's because you understand the wickedness of this world and you were very careful in picking a partner. Even though Jesus ate fish after His resurrection to show that after the resurrection some things of this world are still allowed but marriage no way because you have to understand the wisdom of this wicked world first before you look for a partner to marry and God will not allow this to continue after the resurrection.

For a Christian it's only PHYSICAL that we must flee from as for VERBAL we just laugh it off.
That's why Jehovah's Witnesses could contain whatever anyone say against us insults, abusive speeches, mocking, slanderous thought, accusations and what have you.

It's only PHYSICAL abuse that we must flee for our lives! wink
