@Consultant

You have to be specific. There are different Edo languages. Are you talking about the Bini, Ishan, Afamai or Ora Language. Though Bini is the most popular language in Edo State. Followed by Ishan Language.

Since I posted the message, i have done a little more research so I do know that there are different dialects. But I will take anyone, so I am happy for the Esan tutorial.

can anyone please help me.....I was wanting to get a gift for my husband for Christmas from his baby boy but I wanted something engraved in bini. I'm looking for a bible verse with something with a father to child meaning or even a quote.....any ideas?? Something along the lines of “The father of a righteous child has great joy;a man who fathers a wise son rejoices in him.”
-Proverbs 23:24

There is no such thing as Esan [not ishan as u call it] language nor Afemai language neither is Bini a language, but Edo is the language. Esan[those that jumped] is a geographical area, so also is Afemai[our home] but Benin is the root of all the migrants to these regions, so the variants of Edo language are as a result of the outward movement from Benin. All Edos are of Bini blood and so the Bini root lingua is our general language.
