Why would Olowu of Iwoland Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Akanbi attempts to hide under another lie to continue his lies against Igbo people. He now subtly claims to be an Igbo with Igbo friends. Was it because he has been smoked out as two faced Igbo hate lover, or? Well!

The Oluwo Of Iwoland Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale Should Stop Lying Against Igbo and Support Peter Obi to Emerge as President in 2023 for Change to a New Nigeria.

To claim that Igbo's don't sell land to other tribes or that they are not Nigerian enough is completely false. Many people from different tribes and race have landed properties and farms in Igbo land, and it is incontestible that Igbo's are more dispersed in every part of Nigeria where they have made their home more than other tribes.

So to say that he cannot trust an Igbo to be the President of Nigeria is a whole misspoke.

What a misleading and indeed a rasixt view coming from someone highly placed as a traditional ruler of a great ancient town of Iwo.

It was very disheartening to hear a high calibre voice from a high pulpit knowingly sending out spurious misleading views that distorts the truth about other ethnic group.

Such insidious comment from Olowu of Iwoland, Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale, a traditional ruler against the Igbo's can simply be classified as hate speech. And to observe that he made such vile comment particularly at this political period against the Igbo's can only mean one thing: to hammer the nail deeper in the attempts by some mischievous persons to keep the door of Igbo Presidency in Nigeria in 2023 sealed. But they would all fail insha Allah!

The last time it was Mr Tunde Bakare, a Pastor telling completely unfounded story of Igbo officers abusing the Prime minister before shooting him during the 1966 coup, this time it is a supposedly respected Traditional Chief, the Oluwo of Iwoland clearly telling lies that Igbos refuse to sell land to other ethnic groups thus outrightly maligning the entire Igbo people.

To say that these are two revered individuals of Yoruba ethnicity from Southern part of Nigeria making these outrageous claims at this period says a lot about their intentions on the needed Southern unity in the quest for Igbo Presidency, an endeavour which would entrench fairness equity and justice in Nigeria Political system.

To say that these Southerners made these comments knowing that such views would readily make headlines in national dailies and at this period speak volumes about their participations as co-conspirators against extending the opportunity for Igbo of South East to produce President of Nigeria in 2023.

It is really sad that out of desperation for a continued policy of unfairness and systemic injustice against the Igbo's in Nigeria and its political system, the person of Oluwo of Iwoland would make himself available to be used as agent of disunity instead of agent of unity.

To ask how much was he paid or what value would he gain from such hatchet job against Igbo Presidency is pure waste of time because his mindset as ethnic bigot was verily displayed in his views assuming he was not misquoted.

I have a Yoruba family owning a large poultry farm and land at my village in Anambra. We have where we called 'Ogbe Awusa' meaning Hausa quarters where Northerners own buildings and properties.

To say that Igbo's does not allow other tribes to buy land in Igbo land is spurious and misleading. Any human being who has the ability can and indeed do buy land any where in Igbo land.

The only time an Igbo man may refuse to sell a land to you is when you want to buy the land in his ancestral family compound. Although you may see family's in towns caught by urbanisation selling their family compounds. Yet it is often very rare and considered a taboo in Igbo land for people to sell land in their family compound to anybody even an indigene of same town from different kindred in the same town, not to talk of persons outside the town. So the reality is that apart from land in family compounds (which I think is equally difficult to buy in other traditional ethnic towns and villages), you can buy land anywhere in Igboland once you have the capability. You may say lands in Igbo land are often too expensive but value of land is priceless. These are verifiable facts for those who cares for the truth.

The Oluwo Of Iwoland Oba Abdulrosheed Adewale must then stop lying Against Igbo and support Peter Obi to emerge as President in 2023 for Change to a New Nigeria.
