PREFACE:

ATTENTION ! ATTENTION ! ATTENTION !
First of all, I will like to state that this story you are about to read is a FICTION .
And it was written in this very order (or style) inorder to convey a message of salvation to the world .

You might find some parts of this story interesting to the degree of believing in them has more than a fiction because of how it might relate to one or two things in your own very life ,and it could be other wise .

YET, I would like to state clearly that I "SPEAKLOVE" have testimonies shared on this forum
(and might be found in other places )that
are NOT FICTION AT ALL but are true and did happened in reality .

Nevertheless let the things you are about to read minister to your heart and use the message it conveys to change your life for Good .
It contains a message of deliverance ,of salvation from sin , of the love of God and of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ .

Scriptural quotations are taken from the New king James version bible (Nkjv ) and from king James version bible (KJV).

Some of the sentences you are about to read are quoted out of the bible (new king James version ) withiout references of quotation .
And it was deliberately done to afford it as an inspired utterance in the mouth of the characters or narrator .(while some are not )

Either you are a Christian or not ,Muslim,atheist,Hindu, agnostic, or whatever might be your affiliation concerning religion ,I believe this is for you .
It speaks to different people, and was written for different people and all for people to give different inspirations .

THE BEGINNING :
one morning ,a christian brother who had burdens for the lost and perishing prepared himself to go out fishing for men .

having dressed up ; he knelt down ; lifted up his hands and sang hyms unto God.

having sang ;
He then prayed in this wise :
"father thank you for the privilege you gave me this day to be alive and among those that are called by your name .
Father for the increase of your kingdom ,and for the salvation of the lost and back sliding souls ; I am going out to fish for them.
ho father, guide me to the right side of the river and turn my net to catch the right fishes ,and let not my net break .
Father lead me by your spirit ,and guide me by your light .
keep me from danger and fill me with the right utterances ,and strengthen me in the inner man .
Let my going out not be in vain, but let your kingdom Come ,and your will be done , and at the end let your name be glorified .
In Jesus Christ's precious name I have prayed

Amen ."

Having prayed; he took his bible, and went out to evangelize .
He walked through town passing many people by ,but didn't felt led to preach to any of the people he passed by .
He continued with his walk till he came to a "T shape " junction ,and been wearied in his parade by the heat of the sunny day ,he decided to cross by to the other side of the road to get himself a chilled water .

he watched for the vehicles on the road to ascertain for the for clearance to run by .
Then his gaze came upon a young man on his left hand side ,but he was much concerned with quenching his thirst than to disturbed any body at this time he thought to himself.
he watched careful and saw that it's time to cross by ;but he felt glued by his legs as if something was holding his foot down .
He gazed down upon his foot but nothing was there .
Then what is wrong ?he asked himself .
Ho! What a day is this ho lord !
He lifted his right feet one step forward to cross ,and went ahead to lift the other but drew back with fear and trembling as if about to be accidentally crushed by a moving vehicle .
ho God !
What is wrong with me ?he wondered .
What is this that is happening to me lord ?

"All things work together for the good of those who loves the lord "
-he thought within his heart .

No! This is not good !
What is wrong with my mind
Am I okay at all ? he mused .

Then suddenly he began to be afraid ;
"I am probably been attacked by the demons in this territory ,who have kept those lost in this place in darkness, so that the great light do not sprang .

"Ho Jesus ! save me" -he prayed

"God has not given us the spirit of fear but of power ,and of love ,and of a sound mind "
He thought again .

Ah ! I am losing my mind ;I need to go back home .

"He who is in the field let him not turn back "

Wait ! Are these my thoughts ?

Why am I struggling within my heart with my own self ?

"The flesh fight against the spirit and the spirit fights against the flesh so that you do not do the things you want ."

Ah - holy spirit ! now I see !
now I perceive !
He discerned that the spirit of God was ministering to him .

"Holy spirit lead me ,lead me " he prayed -covering his face with the palm of his right hand while he prayed .

Removing is palm from his eyes; his gaze fell upon a man on his right hand ,but surprisingly the man was the same man he saw standing by his left side when he first arrived the junction .

How come ? he wondered .
Maybe he had crossed before while I was still here and had returned again .
So he turned his face to mind his own business .

"Cast your net own the right side and you will find some ."

He discerned quickly that it was the holy spirit that spoke ,and but wondered what that could mean .
While pondering on what those words could mean he remembered how he had asked God in prayer for 'guidance to the right side of the river ,and for help to catch the right fishes .'

Ho my God !
Could this be a fish ?he wondered

"You will not know unless you throw the net "

I will .
he concluded.

Ehm ,Ehm ...
Good morning sir

"morning " the man replied

Ehm ..
Are you not the one that stood here by my left side earlier ?

"Yes " the man scarcely replied

Wow ! Hope all is well or did you lost anything ?

"Nothing "

Okay , I just thought maybe you might have lost something I could help find .

The man shook his head in silence to mean "negative "

Lord help me ;the brother prayed within his heart .

Suddenly the man jabbed into the road to cross
No .........oooooooo the brother shouted
And grabbed him by his shirt .

Have mercy
Have mercy for those who do not know Christ and preach to them .
Yes it is challenging to do that this days .
You might be ridiculed ,abused,shamed or even threatened but it's worth it and even more than that .

Jesus will not come down to do everything he has given you the ministry of reconciliation .
You are now the one to reconcile the lost world to God through the gospel .

Paul wrote to Timothy
He said .


2 Timothy 1:6-8
[6]Therefore I remind you to stir up the gift of God which is in you through the laying on of my hands.
[7]For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. Not Ashamed of the Gospel
[8]Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord, nor of me His prisoner, but share with me in the sufferings for the gospel according to the power of God,

Yes ! People may fight you or misunderstand you but keep you gaze fix and your heart determined to play a part in the soul wining business and at the revelation of Christ you will be glorified and exalted with a crown with many stars .

Intercedes for the lost and seek the perishing.

The atmosphere was tensed .


Ah!

Residents, car drivers ,motorcycle riders and those passing by all Yelled in thanks giving .

You no dey look road before you cross?
Abi na wetin dey worry you sef ?

The brother said to those who helped calmed the man down .
She na your brother him be ?

The christian replied

The man looked the Christian brother on his face and wondered .
Oya Carry am comot for here before him go cause kasala wey pass gobe for hia .

Okay sir the brother replied .
Sorry ,sorry the brother pets the young man
Please let's find a safer side so you can rest a while before you continue to your destination .

No ! leave me alone and go your own way .

Please you still need to rest before you continue your journey sir .

The young man replied

Okay please Ehm, Ehm ...
The Christian brother was short of words and didnt know what else to say .
He decided to leave the man to his own faith and continue with his own walk .
He turned to walk away

Proverbs 12:27
[27]The lazy man does not roast what he took in hunting, But diligence is man’s precious possession.
The scripture came to his mind

Then he remembered that he was on a mission and the mission is to win a soul ,
The mission was to catch a fish
but that soul is about to slip away from his hands
The fish is about to fall off the net even before being drawn out of the river (the world)

COMMENTARY:

Many people out there need the salvation the gospel offers .
yeah they are even looking for it but they reject it many times because they don't know what it is so they find it funny and it because they don't understand it because of the veil 8n their heart place there by satan .

The bible says 1 Corinthians 2:14
[14]But the natural man does not receive the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness to him; nor can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.

It also says
2 Corinthians 4:3-4
[3]But even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing,
[4]whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

So you must learn to be patient ,humble and discerning with those you minister to.

He took courage and turned to the man
Then asked him
Ehm ....
Which side are you going to sir ?

What do you mean ?
The man asked angrily

I mean where are you going from here ?

" Where I came from," he replied with anger visible in his face .

Can I walk you down sir ?

But the young man gave No reply

THE MAN: "What is it that you want from me ?
Please go away. "

Okay what your name so that maybe I might want to check on your to ascertain your well being ?

He walked away from the road side looking for a shade to stay before he regained his mind .

The brother also walked away leaving the man behind .

COMMENTARY :

there are struggles In every bid to win a soul to God ,but by the power of the holy spirit they shall be convinced and convicted if you don't lose hope but keep on pressing and praying for such people.

Few minutes later , he saw someone walking torwards him hloding two bottles of water

He said in anger

Sorry I went to go get us water to drink

Us ?

Who is us ? The man asked .

I mean you and I , the brother replied .

Eh-ehn ! What about us ?

We are friends and even brothers .

Do I know you before ?

" No ! you don't "
the brother said with his voice trembling

Okay ! what's all this about ?
What do you really want from me ?
Say what your problem and get out of here.

You are my problem sir .

Me your problem ? Pointing to himself ;
He asked ; laughing sardonically.
How did I became you problem ?
the man yelled with anger .

Actually, I will like to share the good news of the gospel with your sir .
the brother said said summoning courage

Good news of the gospel ?
What's good about the gospel ?

Many things .

Like what ?
There is nothing you will tell me about the gospel or whatever you called it that I haven't heard before ,so please leave me alone now !

The brother: Please just.......

The man : I said leave me alone !

The attention of those close by was drawn to the scene .
Some thought its two friends discussing their differences while others thoughts otherwise. maybe they have some scores to settle ;everyone faced their own businesses,and didnt give much concerned to the rumble.

(Let me open up to him maybe he would let me be if he hears my plan ,the man thought within himself .)

The man: See young man
I'm am tired of all this your trouble ,I am even tired of life itself and your so called goodnews can't do me no good at this time because after leaving here I am going to kill myself .

Kill yourself ? The brother yelled
But why ?

COMMENTARY:
no matter what you might be going through in life please take it easy .
Things will turn out for good ,just keep on trying and never give up as long as you've got breath in you .

COMMENTARY:
life is truly full of troubles ,and challenges but we've all got to learn how to cope .

Don't give up ,but stay strong

The brother sat close to the man who had become emotional and tears almost dripping from his eyes

THE BROTHER :"Please I know that life can bite hard sometimes,but they'll surly be light at the end of the tunnel."

Only those who have tunnel hope for light at the end .
But I have seen the end of my own tunnel and now I am ready to break it because it doesn't favors me but instead fills me with sorrow and darkness the man said

THE BROTHER :But Jesus will give you life and a better tunnel sir .

THE MAN :Jesus ? Who is he ?

THE BROTHER: God

THE MAN: God ?
Where is he all this time while I suffered ?
See ! I don't believe in all these religious stuff .

THE BROTHER: Are you not religious ?

THE MAN : No !
I am spiritual .

THE BROTHER :How can one be spiritual without being religious ?

THE MAN :That's not my problem

THE BROTHER : Okay sir please what your problem ?
Please please share it with me and I trust God to redeem you from them .

AAAh !
Ho !
The man bursted into crying again .

It's okay ,its okay sir .
Please stop crying ,all will be fine .

I have suffered !
But I blame myself .
I should have been smarter than all these ;
But here I am now .

THE BROTHER :Okay tell me what it is sir. please tell me.

How can you solve them even if I tell you because I know you can't .

Yes I can't but with God all things are possible .

THE MAN :Stop calling God my friend !
What has he done for me ?
He doesn't exist !
it's a waste of time to call on a thing that is built on dogma and mere theory withiout proof .

THE BROTHER : In me

In you ? Ah ah ah ah he laughed with the traces of tears still on his face ;
This religious people sef and foolishness .
Where is the evidence of the existence of your Jesus ?

I am his evidence ,And you can be too .

THE MAN : Is it a matter of choice ?

Yes choice, and fact .

THE BROTHER :What he has done in my life and what he has done in yours and what he has done in all of the universe and in all people, animal ,plant and everything in it .
His attributes can be see over the wall of creation .

You are a liar !
He has done nothing and can do nothing !
The man said angrily ,and bursted into tears again .

I suffered !
I really suffered .

THE BROTHER : Satan made you to suffer .

Satan ?

The one in your mind or what ?

Nothing can save me Again.

THE MAN:It is better to die and rest once and for all than to return to the struggles of this life .

THE BROTHER : Struggles don't end in this life for anyone who doesn't have Jesus has their personal lord and savior ,instead they continue to struggle in hell after they die

COMMENTARY:

Sometimes life could become tough for anybody ,or there might be one challenges or two ,yet I think you should never consider suicide as the route to an end because that's the beginning of the real trouble .

SUICIDE leads a person to hell and eternal condemnation .

You have to learn to cope ,adjust and stay strong.

You are stronger than many people out there ,so such people need you to stay .

COMMENTARY :

some people around you might be feeling suicidal but you might still not perceive because they may not tell you or open up to anyone .

You have to learn to read peoples body language and then you will be able to discern what they might not tell you by themselves .

Please show concern for those around you .

Call somebody today and tell them
"I just want to say Hi ! "

THE MAN :Hell ?
I've been through hell I tell you .

THE BROTHER: No you've not

THE MAN : Okay tell me what else could be hell than these :
I had a job , a wife and two sweet children before.
I had three cars , a growing building material business and two subsidiaries .
All of these went through the air

THE BROTHER :How come ?

THE MAN : Sport betting !
I was addicted to sport betting .
I sold two of my cars when I couldn't pay the debt I was owing those companies

I borrowed money from my in law to boast my business but ended up using it to bet with the hope of regaining what I had lost
But I ended up losing that too .

The issue brought division between myself and my wife and that led to our divorce
She went away with my children
I went to court but was granted the custody of my child with the excuse of the child still in its tender age .

I had to sell of the material in one of my subsidiaries at a very low dicount just to pay off my in-laws debt .

In my struggle with these I resort to comforting myself with alcohol .
And then also became addicted to it .
I take at least four bottles each day ,and that led to the deteriorating of my health.

I also tried to fill the sexual gap of my wife's absent by going to brothel to have sex with prostitute which also consumes my money .
Until somebody advice's me to resort to masturbation as that would save me money and time .
I heeded the advice and went into masturbation and watching of pornography .
But that made my condition worse because I ended up masturbating four to six times a day .
I also download pornographic videos almost every six hours .and that consumes my money also .
I couldn't concentrate any longer on my business . and my employee is duping me because of my regular absent at work .

That's how everything went down
And all I have left is a peanut compared to what I had before .

but yet I still do these things and don't know what to do

Now my problem via how to get free from these addictions ,of masturbation ,sport betting ,sex workers patronizing and how to gain my sanity and familly back

Which of this can your Jesus solve ?

THE BROTHER : All of them .

How ?
Have you ever heard that he did it before ?

Yes I have

From who and for who ?

By me and For me

THE MAN : You ?

Yes me

THE MAN :Tell me how ?

THE BROTHER :Yes I will tell you

THE MAN : Okay I'm listening

COMMENTARY: when preaching or trying to witness to people you must learn how to be patient .
You must be tolerant .
You must be careful
And should show concern for whatever they might be passing through .

Don't just struggle to share the gospel with people but try to connect to their individual needs and proffer any help or solution if you can .

People will always have problem
But you can't solve them all (only God can )
,so be wise

The bible says
"The gospel is the power of God for salvation."

Salvation could also mean " solution"

So God's solution to every needs of men can only be administered and apprehended through the gospel .

The gospel is not just articulative words but " a means to an end which is -tangible salvation that can be experienced beyond mental importation or discussions.

The brother began to narrate the story of how he too was once held bond by various addictions and how he got his freedom to the man.

he said :
"I once was living with lying ,gambling,fornication ,hatred,anger,malice,sex workers patronizing,fighting, immoral clubbing, smoking ,doing drugs ,stealing, etcetera.
I was engaged in all of this things including pornography and masturbation.

Among all these my favourite was
pornography and masturbation .
And my will was enslaved by the sinful and ungodly pleasures they offered.

Ah! You ?
The man exclaimed and shook his head in surprise

COMMENTARY:
I want to believe that we all have one or two things we regretted doing in the past .
We aren't proud of those things but we have to move on and forget the past .
Having dealt with whatever repercussions might be involved .

COMMENTARY:
IN CHRIST Jesus old things are passed away and all things are made new again

COMMENTARY :
The bible says in
Proverbs 28:13
[13]He who covers his sins will not prosper, But whoever confesses and forsakes them will have mercy.
