Problem is we the enlightened ones won't go out to vote, the foolish gullible ones who are the majority would troop out and vote their zombie king.
Boom the cycle continues.
This is the major problem of Nigeria. Only the polithiefcians and the lower class citizens do vote. Most middle class people don't vote. High class won't near voting point at all except he/she is a polithiefcian.

What works can be done by us to stop the cycle, since we are the biggest beneficiaries of a better society Bigger beneficiaries than the foolish gullible people who troop out to vote.

Anyone aged 18+ who gets deceived by their antics is a foolish voter.
Any one still voting for a party in Nigeria and expecting a better life is the fool..
Nigerians should be clamouring for a change in the system of government by constitutional amendment because evidently no matter who becomes the president in this system of government Nigeria would keep declining..

Fools fools fools fools and fools everywhere, they keep voting, they kept Hoping, from more than 30 years ago, they learnt nothing, they see history but neglect it,they watch the world practice complex system of governments, they didn't wish a replicate in their own country, they know what should be done, they know of state policing, they know that political salary and allowance should be reduced, they know that immunity of office should be abolish, they know that the judicial system should be shuffled, they know that regional system, true federalism or restructuring should be in place yet they kept foolishly voting because they think the problem lies mostly on the person, they are blind to the process or works of the executive, legislative and judiciary....Gandhi or budha as president would have no significant effect
Fools fools fools and fools everywhere...
