I don't usually click those ads but i had to open this one. The visible sentence i could see there was, wanted john effiong itoh bassey, a cook in ikoyi absconded with......#3M reward. Now i clicked the ad hoping to get a more clearer picture, or possibly detailed informated about the said individual, but lo and behold, it took me to a telegram channel. The channel was opened 4 days ago with no information on the page at all. A short descriprion of tha page says "finding bassey, information leading to his arrest would be greatly rewarded, Seriously??Now alot of nairalanders will see #3M, jump on the link. I was hoping the link would direct me to a verified published page, website or any social media handle, but na telegram, telegram of all channels. Things like this, after gathering enough subscribers, dem go change the description and heading, start dey talk about one banana investment, you sef know as e dey go. This method reeks of suspicion. Shey all these mod dey do their work or as dem dey ban person e dey give them intense pleasure. Y'all are really good on clamping down monickers that throws insults but for all this fraud ad, una go carry una eye go corner.
