My Honest Review About Fibreone In 2022 by easrael(f): 9:59am On Apr 24, 2022
I am always careful about bashing companies especially when I have not used their service. I found Fiberone on Google when I was looking for broadband companies that actually have unlimited plans. My kids have been disturbing me since December to renew the house Wi-fi but I could not because have you met them?! Just two of them can finish 1 terabyte in 2 months and I am not exaggerating.

I bought Fibreone 65 mbps for around 30k and got it installed for a bit more of the same price. The usage in my house is high so I went for a higher speed. In the first two months I started using the network there were no issues but in March I experienced a downtime for almost a week. I was angry and I continued calling their customer service. I did everything they said but it was not working. We are not so patient in my house so I started calling their sales team to tell them that they did not tell me that I will be begging them to help me solve internet issues when they came to install their network in my house. It was one Adejoke or Ajoke that picked my call that day and she was surprisingly calm and was more helpful than the others. She didn’t transfer me to a customer service rep and just made sure she scheduled their engineers to come to my house.

I am still using their network and I have even recommended it to my friends but I hope they will not serve me breakfast. If they do, I will move somewhere else. No time.

I had similar experience, but the customer care team just told me to do some hard reset on my device, it didn’t take up to 30mins before it came back to live.

I have also recommended to my dad and he also recommended to a few of his friends.

The brand has really been trying in their internet service production, and their customer service management is better than ever.

Thanks. I was considering them, but there are several negative comments about their downtime. Have you experienced any other downtimes? Do you still use their services?

My experience with Fibreone is already disappointing even though I am yet to start using their service.

I paid the installation fee of 75k on the 9th of December with an agreement that the installation process will be completed within 2 weeks and most definitely before the yuletide. This payment was made after they had conducted a survey in home area to ensure they had coverage.
Almost 3 weeks later, no installation and absolutely no communication which prompted me to go to their office for enquiries where they apologised and explained they had a little issue with their contractors. I asked for a refund and they explained that their CEO will have to sign before a refund can be issued and begged that I should be a bit more patient. We eventually came to an agreement that the installation will be completed by the 8th of January.
I was patient until 18th of January even though there was no communication or signs of ongoing works because I understand they have to lay a fibre optic cable. I went to their office and they asked that I give them a week which elapsed today being 25th. As at today I haven't observed any excavation or laying of cables to my home, and no one has called me regarding the installation or even to apologise for the delays.

I'll be going to their office tomorrow to demand for a refund because I am no longer interested in their service. If they can be this unreliable now, I wonder how they will handle issues encountered during my use of their service.

Plus I got to discover that the installation and subscription charges in Abuja is way higher than other locations.
One pays 75k for installation and 17.5k for the monthly subscription of the basic plan in Abuja whereas those in Lagos pay approx. 45k for installation and 12k monthly for the basic plan. Those in Lagos get 16mbps while Abuja residents get 10mbps for the same plan even though they pay higher. I find this to be ridiculous.

I understand that they can be quite reliable in service delivery based on some of the reviews I've seen but I just can't deal with the way they've handled things with me so far.

One network tried this nonsense with me in 2021, I paid installation fee of about 150k cos they told me I need a very high frequency radio to get a good signal, I didn't have any option so I paid cos I can't continue with a limited internet provider data package.... paying 20K for 200gb on my Airtel router doesn't seem good for me cos I don't like be careful while using the internet.

The ISP came to my house and fixed the radio, unfortunately they couldn't get a SOS, I had to drag them and go to their office before I could get a refund, it took approx 2 months lol. The name of the ISP is I-World networks

their office is located in Femi Johnson Broking House, Dugbe, Ibadan

I hate to say my experience with them have been a bitter one, my office decided to go for them and we rely greatly on the internet, each time there is an issue one can't get through to them, if you do call the sales rep she is the worst human you can possibly think of doing anything with, her response is alarming, her manners and attitude for a sales rep is shockingly disappointing, I don't even want to begin with their engineers who i don't know where they picked them all up from, whoever made the recruitment for their Abuja office should be Jailed. The only reason i haven't packed up their boxes is cause my office is still doing Ijebu as to releasing money to get other choices like the BCN or Main 1. i will never recommend Fiberone to anyone. My experience has been bad with them, this is the end of 2023 as we enter the new year i am certainly pushing to get their services out of the office.
