1.nPlease check my response again, I wasn't the individual you were having the argument about polygamy been archaic with. I just decided to chip in my little opinion.
In my opinion though, I think polygamy is fast going extinct in Africa too, at least in this part of the world. Except maybe in villages, most/if not all of the families I know are nuclear families. The idea of being married to multiple individuals at a time has lost/is fast losing acceptance.
You seem like an individual who hates been corrected though, at least going by your reply.

I don't think polygamy is going extinct yet. Instead, I think it is taking on a different form in this new world we find ourselves with many more prefering to keep side chicks and bobs, and having of multiple baby mamas and baby daddy's instead.

I am not against polygamy/Polyandry, just so you know as I believe we all not all built to fit into a single mold. What I am against here is the assumption that only men should be allowed even culturally to spread their poly wings.
