I once used this method was around 2018, when my bank deliberately refused to refund my seized money through pos transactions that failed, after series of complain to my bank, for almost two months or there about, I then sent a mail to CBN/CPD and in two days all my money was refunded. But I sent the mail along side with my proof of transaction.

The problem is that our people don't have the time to pursue their case to a logical conclusion. Same thing with police case. If you know you have a good case, tell them to take the case to court. You will see how they will engage you for amicable settlement.

Back has not done you something abi? Well this cbn stuff was trending on Twitter like 2 to 3 years ago, that was how I knew about it and it worked. CBN dey bill these Bank for the failure of these transactions. Why do you think it keeps the banks on their toes

I understand the bank too sometimes feel reluctant to resolve issues on their part, my previous statement wasn't for all cases though. Some dispense errors, as simple as they look could be very tedious to resolve

Reporting is not the issue but taking action

Google search led me to the cbn address cpd@cbn.gov.ng. I wrote them again this time with cbn in cc.

In less than 2hours I got feedback with a promise to check and resolve the issue swifty.

They eventually did the next day.

Na so FCMB chop my 1k without rendering the service in return. I found it funny because I just opened it as one of my back up. Just early days and una Don mess up big time. I no get energy to go through the hassle of mailing, I will just keep maintaining the 3k wey dey there.

That email is what i always attach or copy to my Union and Access bank complaint mail.

The CBN under Emefiele has no interest of the citizens at heart! No citizen friendly policies.

Successfully introduced several charges.

We need something like this for NEPA people oo .. Make then gv everyone prepaid. This crazy biilling is too much..

I doubt if they revert, because i sent them mail 3 weeks ago for my 4,500 that is hanging with OPAY. They only reply that they have received the mail and they will work on it, and uptil now nothing.
