Someone who would remove subsides on petrol and power and also conmence measures to raise our tax to gdp ratio to at least 30 to40 percent.

Also someone who would stop all these npower and surep naitonal cake economics and actually get us off oil and into indistrial production and dependency.

And someone who would fight corruption and stop all them Nyame type pardons.

Someone who would facethe reality that we are a poor nation that needs side hustle to survive

The government has fed our mind with subsidy removal conspiracy as if that's what is preventing this nation from moving forward..

..its corruption that should be dealt with... removal of subsidy will only give them more money to steal..
....theres no nation in the world the government doesn't subsidize essential commodity like fuel....it helps to control the prices because mrketters can easily exploit masses when they have total comtrol....

I want a President with verifiable records and proven competence. I will repeat again, i do not want an 'I will do this or that' President; It must be an 'I have done this and that with facts'.. No more gambles.

That President must have increased the revenue of any economy he has handled before because our economy needs an experienced performer. Simple!

You are just speaking the normal grammar

Me, I want someone who can put in place the basic infrastructure: Roads, electricity, pipe borne water, fix our dead refineries.

Also we have been a consuming nation for long, let's encourage and develop local production, this will boost the naira strength in the global market and provides jobs for the youths.

Nigeria problem is d system and not any leader or politicians. Imagine paying 109 senator and 360 rep members N30M And N25M Respectively monthly for doing nothing. We need federal system of govt and not presidential system. We bicameral legislature on part time basis. True federalism so that every state can wake up and develop at their pace. There is too much power at d centre, delegate more power d states becos they are closer to d local govt and people than FG. All these can only be possible with constitution amendment and thats d bottleneck.imagine our situation after 24yrs of non interrupted democratic dispensation. Its d system and our leaders.if u doubt my post lets wait and see what will happen after 2023 electn. Even angel jibril will fail with the current constitution in place.

If a president has the fear of God and the good of the people in heart, one whom is open to developments and innovations, one whom understands global modern policies, one whom is fearless without being bias or sentimental, one whom isn't religiously blind, one whom sees Nigeria has a one nation without any form of division or favouritism, one whom is ready to fight insecurities thoroughly, one who is vibrant, young, agile and productive...one whom understands the constitutions and the nation's history and doesn't break laws....one whom is ready to lead and take the nation forward to global progress...I see no one having all this except myself... grin grin grin

I need a President that would focus on the future of this country and profound solutions to the existing and futuristic problem of our country without blaming the pass leadership.

A detribalized leader that would see the entire country as his constituency.

A President that would place Nigeria in a committee of industrialised Nations

We need a president that would speak and stand by his word.

A President that would fix the insecurity problem bedeviling our country.

As we all know Nigeria is currently crown the poverty capital of the world and we need someone that can remove us from that position.

Clearly, Nigerians haven't learnt redemptive lessons!

Our minds have been so conditions to have ridiculously minimal levels of expectations from our leaders.

...while others are equally suffering from Stockholm Syndrome.

In addition to the characters listed above, open communication to citizens should be his watch word not sending special assistant to be communicating with Nigerians. All presidents in the world speak to their country men and women on weekly and monthly basis, only Nigeria president sends special assistant to talk to Nigerians.

The ideal candidate (He/She) should look like this:

> must be educated in the field of economics
> younger than 55 years
> non tribalistic technocrat personality
> a mover and shaker with aspirations who is more interested in the work ahead than useless party politics
> must be able to lay out a realistic step by step program to fight poverty (micro-small business)
> must be able to articulate a realistic vision how to create an investor friendly environment for medium-large business
