What is good for the goose, is good for the gander"
In this case, one is a goose (twitter), the other one is in progress wink

Twitter being sold doesn't mean Nairaland owners want to sell it.
Twitter dey America.
Na naija we dey

Wow, our own Nairaland. Seun will not go about searching for you. You look for him and make him an offer. He will sell if your offer is meaningful. Life is about progress.

Seun should tell us how much he wants to sell Nairaland, so the bidding can start flying in

So what about Tesla, twitter, WhatsApp, paystack etc that were sold by their previous owners or founders?
The guy's actually right. You may have the ability to discover something but lack the ability to project it to a higher clime.
Even jumia was bought by yudala and you might ask why.
The guy buying nairaland doesn't even mean he will succeed with it. It's more like a gambling though.
Is nairaland more profitable or popular than twitter? No! But someone just acquired it.

see eehn, u re right in ur own perspective of look as well.

If i create something like nairaland or twitter its all depends on me if i wish to sell it or not, one outside will not be allowed to dictate to me how to run my project, even if the project become redundant no be hin problem, if he's too concerned he can go and create his own and launch it na.

If the guy tinks nairaland is not reaching its potential let him create his own site from scratch and turn it to a bigger Twitter in less than ten years, make hin do am if he easy na

I hate the emotional blackmailing, he was even saying naija people are too attached to their business, i hate that statement and na wetin vex me be that.so i should sell my source of livelihood just cus i dont want to be too attached to my business, see hin mouth.

Is he blind or intellectually handicapped to code?? Let him start his own site and wen it reach the nairaland stage he should sell it out.

Lolz
I can see your perspective clearly now.
Not everyone will sell and seun might or might not. Some years ago, Zuckerberg offered to buy twitter but was turned down but look at what today news brought to us.
It's only seun that knows why he's yet to update nairaland features or even sell it. It's totally his business and by the way, nairaland is way above $1m talk less of 100 million naira.
