I'm not sure how Elon Musk wants to pull off this his Twitter ownership but it doesn't look like it will end well. First off Elon has said he hates Twitter's advertising for revenue so is he gonna make Twitter subscriptions based? With this encryption talk Twitter's overhead cost are gonna increase meaning if you combine it with a lack of ad revenue the burden will be more on the users than the current model. This is speculation, hopefully Elon's control will not cause Twitter to plunge.
