Joseph and Benjamin sons of Jacob were brothers. Their offspring therefore will have similar identities. It may not be a surprise to have today the children of Benjamin by far outnumbering the children of Joseph. How ever it may be the children of Joseph will not be counted or said to be that of Benjamin. We have common ancestral linkage but neither Igbo is Ikwerre nor Ikwerre Igbo. One word Biafra, It's the thing the ethnic minorities of the area fear of. and very often what you fear is what you hate.

The same way Ibos feel about the perceived Fulani hegemony is the same way minority ethnic groups In the lower Niger area feel about Igbo domination.

Most of the Biafran proponents are of Igbo origin they did(do) not seek the opinions and feelings of the inhabitants of the area before you include them in your seccesionist maps.
