Since nobody still comes to this dried part of the website, I'm not expecting any show. But it's worth to give it a try.

Any Ekiti speaker on NL should help me out here. Ekiti is a very different, special, beautiful dialect I'm willing to learn.

Here are the requirements:

1. FLUENT Ekiti speaker. Plz, I dont want anyone to teach me garbage.

2. Willing to come on NL atleast 3 days a week, with interest in Ekiti language. No, I'm not paying anybody, I no be Adenuga's daughter.

3.  Professionalism. No childish and immature expression. I simply do not have the time or patience to babysit anyone.

4. Everything is on NL. I can understand the tone alright. Understand and speaking a language are two diff things, I've realized.

In all seriousness, I'm not playing with this thread. I'm trying to learn my dialect. I've been learning small small. My family speaks it, so I understand it very very well. But I need to speak it too.

Well I dont thnk you can really understand the language through Nairaland or by learning online. You will still need to know how to pronounce the language.
I can speak the language to an extent if you want some questions anyway.
Try and be listening to some Ekiti songs, I can remember only Elemure. It will help you on pronunciation.

Lol, you originally posted here (before you edited) that the dialect was "mixed with Bini."

Did you edit because is makes your Nairaland character more liable to be seen as a 100% Yoruba man or because the claim about the Ekiti dialect was completely false? Just wondering.
