Igbo is spoken in Nigeria, Gabon, Equatorial Guinea, and a few dialects that survied the slave trade are spoken in Cuba, Haiti, Jamaica and Brazil.
You must know little about the East or the Igbos for that matter. Havnt you heard "Igbo Enwegi Eze" meaning the Igbos have no king.

Igboland does not extend to the Nigerian border with Cameroun. Cameroun is made up of Bantu-languages. Igbo is spoken in Gabon because Gabon was a good ally of Biafra and supplied Biafra with, advice, resources, and arms. At the end of the war, a large Igbo community moved to Gabon and Equitorial Guinea. Like I said earlier, you know little about the East, dont make unsupported assumptions.

Gabon and Equatorial Guinea speak Igbo because of the migration of Igbos from Nigeria to that country ( according to you ), Togo and Benin Republic speak Yoruba because it was under the great Oyo empire, You see the difference, One tribe is all conquering while the other is all lazying around drinking palm-wine

that should be common sense , most non hausas in the north speak or understand hausa and most non igbos here in ph speak and understand igbo.

@Sheshi. If you say  indigenous Yoruba dont exist in Ghana, then you dont know Ghana. Though minority, they exist and are called 'Anago'

I repeat. There is NO Yoruba speaking group in Ghana. The Ga-Dangbe Tribe (a small tribe only significant because theirs is the land on which the capital Accra was built)  are the ones said to have moved to Ghana from the Yoruba area of Nigeria. They originally came from East Africa (around modern day Sudan), stopped over in Yorubaland for about half a century and Moved on to their present location, in Ghana. They don't speak Yoruba. They speak Ga.

Interestingly, the Gas have the same reputation in Ghana as the yorubas have in nigeria it seems. On the negative side, Gas are regarded as lazy, dirty, and untrustworthy. On the plus side, they are well educated.
