How do you identify a preterm baby?
Their Skin are red and so thin that blood vessels are easily seen. They also have fine hairs on their body especially over the back.Their head is large compared to the body in terms of proportion.
They have weak or absent suck and in boys their testes may not descend and their scrotum may be small
Preterm babies could have some difficulties more than babies born at full term but with proper and adequate care preterm babies will be fine just like full time babies.
