2023: We must thread path of equity by zoning next presidency to South — Southern govs declare

The Southern Governors, have insisted that the leadership of the All Progressives Congress, must thread the path of equity by zoning the presidency to the Southern part of the country.

Chairman of the Southern Governor’s Forum and Ondo state governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, in a statement personally signed by him in Akure insisted that ” It is the turn of the Southern part of the country to produce the next President.

The statement was entitled ” OUR PARTY, APC, MUST TREAD THE PATH OF EQUITY.

Akeredolu, also said the Leadership of the party should have no difficulty in making a pronouncement on the power shift to the southern part of the country.

I was always talking like Akeredolu before

I felt The APC and PDP should zone to the South, and Southern candidates will compete for the ticket.

But some people are against it, they will tell you if it can't be microzone to their geopolitical region then the North should continue

I now believe all the parties should throw the ticket open.

May the best man win.

Buhari a Northerner have ruled for 8 years, it should be the turn of the South.

Even if a Northerner win next year, the ticket will never be microzone to any geopolitical region in 2027 neither will it be microzone to any geopolitical region in 2031.
