not long ago, i knowingly gave someone i suspected was an identity thief access to reset my FB password.
I questioned the purpose of his request but He just said "send it fast" and i did.

Why i did still beats me and has made me realise how vunerable our behaviorial mechanisms are.
Concerning fake alert, less not even go there, because no matter how one is educated, you'd have to be a cyber security engineer to be able to withstand some scamming techniques.
