The Supreme Court on Friday in Abuja resolved the ownership dispute of 17 oil wells in favour of Rivers State.

In a landmark judgment prepared by Justice Heleen Ogunwumiju but delivered by Justice Emmanuel Agim, the apex court dismissed the counterclaim ownership put forward by the Imo State Government.

The oil wells are located in the territory of Rivers and Imo states.

At the time of this report, detailed judgment was yet to be made available to parties in the dispute.

I wasn't expecting anything different. There's no way a supreme court judgement of this manner will favour Igbo. No way! From the time of creation of Nigeria, there has been a collaborative effort to bring Igbos down and the unity of Nigeria is stamped by the down fall of Igbo. I pity Uzodinma and all the efulefus.

Who are you now blaming, hope and buhari or the justice odili. Am sure that you are not aware that the court ruling was based before on evidence presented by national boundary commission

Judgement was delivered in a case between two neighboring states and they are already playing the victim and ethnic card.

When it is time to hate on other regions, they drag the SS into their hatred by force with “we the people of SE/SS”. When a decision that benefits the SS to the exclusion of the SE is made, they quickly throw the SS under the bus and forget the “we the people of SS/SE mantra”. Good enough, the SS people are watching and taking note.

Am not faulting the judgement... I am faulting Uzodinma raising dead issue and Buhari trying hard to please Imo and Ebonyi state for their loyalty using Rivers State resources
