Some won't accept it, but it's true.

I was praying about my career with my wife one day.

Just out of the blue, I opened LinkedIn later that morning and saw that one man checked my profile.

I checked his and made a connection request which he quickly accepted.

Shortly afterwards, there was a message from him asking for my CV, which I sent immediately.

A short while later, I got a call. It was him. Before the day ended, there was a job offer.

I never knew him from anywhere, never heard about him or his company, but that job is currently changing my life.

Personally, I learnt from my failures in initially applying for jobs after completing my national service.
Reflect on every failed interview. Keep asking yourself what you could have done differently. Make friends with others who have gone through the process and take inspiration from them. Don't stop polishing your CV. Don't stop trying. Make a habit of responding to every call politely even if it might be a wrong number. Lastly and perhaps most importantly, ALWAYS CHECK YOUR MAILS.

I have never needed connection for anything in life, from gaining admission to study medicine and leaving during my 200 levels for NDA.

Medicine and nursing does not need connection or experience as it's designed to get you straight into work

They might be the minority though, but abeg make una come teach us how you do am .

i got my current job through difficulty and stress.... which i am now enjoying now,,, with the impressive payment ......

I got my job through BUHARI.

My area of specialty is Mathematics, I have never lobbied anyone to get a job. I just resume work of 80k today and I'm waiting for the secretary of another organization to type my appointment letter as I'm typing this. In what ever your hands findeth to do, do it well with passion

Getting a new job has really be easy for me and all glory to God. All you need is God’s grace and determination.

If you are among those that strongly believe that you can’t get a good job in this country without a connection, he go choke you oh.

oga leave them..skills that are not applicable..hunger never knack them..I am a graduate but a professional woodwork marker though I still work in a fg uni wanted to add bolts but no time as I have only 24hrs a day..o God 24hrs is not enough

First one

My friend sent in my CV and I was called for an interview. The HR manager who was conducting the interview studied French and I had done some months in a French school which was on my CV. She switched the interview to French and I was responding same. Others on the panel were just watching us .

After the interview, someone on the panel said I should rest assured that I had already got the job. And I got it.


Second

It was a full time writing job and I was given a test with a topic to write on. My article was preferred by the senior writer who was supposed access us. But apparently, the group head was threatened because I was going to be working with her husband (that was what I heard later).

So, they went with someone else against the senior writer's recommendation. A month or 2 after, I was called to come resume. They had fired the group head and in turn fired the person she employed. I resumed immediately.

I started applying a few months before the end of service. I was close to a few offers before I rounded up service. I wrote a total of about 15 GT exams between the first two months after I rounded up service.

I got three offers, and went for the best offer. I guess that I have always been favored in that aspect.

Thank you for saying the truth!! Every Tom and dick is saying get a skill, is only by skill alone you need God Intervation they are so many skillful youth out there no job.

The funny part is that they think is easy to start up something with your skill

If you no get God and connection you are on your own.

Hard work, prayer & luck.

I got a job online without any connection, it's just God's grace.

Forget about say whether you get person, if you just have the required skills and become valuable trhough your contents in social media, some companies will even be coming for you.

But God is the ultimate � reason for ky success.

Apply unsolicitedly to jobs in your field and remotely related to field that you qualify for and to jobs that you are not qualified for.

People still get good jobs without connection though. If you have this kind of mindset, it would limit your ability to try. Unless there's age factor to worry about.

I got more than 10 offered within the space of 3 years without any connection.
I only go online, search for job and send my application.

Perhaps they did professional certification courses or belong to one or two relevant professional membership. Sometimes, professional certifications courses serves as experience.

Sometimes, you dont need to know no one to get what you want. Know God, Know yourself, have the requirement and boom...you have it!

Those who believe until they know someone always get disappointed OR be at the mercy of whom they depended on. Thats a miserable way to live
