VCs are heads of governing council at institutions they are former lecturers though

When they resign, they go back to their lecturing job except if they get to head another government dept , even if they do they still get to keep their lecturing job and offices.

So they are still lecturers either they are VC's or not.

ASUU and FG : One Week, One Problem.


It is the right of our youths to go back to school, cos your own kids are schooling abroad.
The Ministry of Education should get their acts together.
This is getting too long.
Stop slowing down the journey of our youths,
Let them return to class please.

Have their wives come back from their meeting in Istanbul? And where did they get money to pay a whooping sum of 1.5m for a flexing party in the guise of meeting? Everybody is just fighting for their pockets and not the students or the University’s infrastructural development. Mtcheew!

How much is FG owing ASUU ? They should task all the Presidential aspirants in both APC and PDP to contribute #500m each to settle ASUU while FG contribute half of the money .
I expect any serious candidate for Presidential election to utilize this opportunity and speak out , if possible contribute , no matter how little to placard ASUU.
Same way , they contributed during COVID .
Even private individuals , politicians, companies, agencies should come to the students aid .
They prefer to buy rice , yam , rappers ,grinding machines etc to buy the electorates for votes .
I heard the associates of BAT and YO contributed heavily around #1.5b and #1b respectively.
Even APC should channel part of their form money to this cause . It’s very shameful.
All the ministers that purchased the form need to be stoned .

Bloody fool doesn't understand that the MAJOR reason for striking is UNDERFUNDING of Universities..

It is TETFUND (TERTIARY EDUCATIONAL FUND) that is most used by the FG to push funds to the Universities/higher institutions..
