Economic collapse is a probable occurrence in the current situation of the world. With countries having huge national debt that outstrips their national reserve, economic collapse is not an impossibility. Though we read only a few things about the financial condition of the current world, the real situation is not hopeful. So, it will be an excellent idea to make preparation for an economic collapse, where there would be no need of money. Here I am going to share the method which you can follow.

1. Additional Source of Income
When you are expecting an economic collapse, the most important thing is to make some extra source of income. Try to create some additional income source with your creativity. Maybe you have a good knowledge about something, but you are not using that right now. Start to use that knowledge to make a different income source. It will give an outstanding support on economic collapse. You could then use the additional income to fast-track your prepping.

2. Store Food and Water
Save a little bit of food every day. Try to store those kinds of food which can be eaten for a long time. Also, store some dry food for the bad days. Science says you can survive only three weeks without food. So, this is a major factor for you. Also, preserve pure water as much as you can. These two things will help you a lot when you are in an economic collapse.

3. Keep the Metal (Gold and Silver)
Economic collapse starts slowly, and you won’t feel it at the starting. During that time, don’t sell any metal. The price of Gold and other valuable metals increases would increase during an economic collapse. So, you should keep the precious metals in your hand as a preparation for those difficult days.

4. Start a Garden
A garden can provide you fresh and nutritious food in your hard moments. This is a good way to ensure the supply of food for you and your family. Also, if you have enough fruits and vegetables in your garden, they can bring some extra money for you. You can start this in front of your home. If you don’t have enough space, start a container garden. Choose the right vegetables and other herbs for gardening which has a good nutrition and value.

5. First Aid Kit
Save the first aid kits for terrible situations. Don’t use this box right now, keep it safe somewhere which you will use in a collapse of the economy. Check some important things are available or not such as sterile gauze pads, elastic bandages, a thermometer, latex or non-latex gloves, instant cold packs, antibiotic ointment and some other necessary medical equipment.

6. Self Defense Tools
Collect some self-defense tools to protect your assets from thieves and the other attacks. There is no need of gun or something else for self-defense. Mace and pepper spray are some good thing about it. You can collect Taser devices which shoot two small probes which transmit an electrical charge to the attacker. Use some alarming system. This will help you to get alerted when someone is trying to enter your property.
