Its not a mind game. Open your eyes and face the reality in front of you. You still want to make the same mistake your father's made. They wouldn't pay workers, they borrow to enrich themselves. Minimum wage is N30,000. Presidency form is N100,000,000. Yet they find it hard to pay workers.

They all wine and dine together. They jump from party to party and you think they are not the same.

You should be thinking about your future and the future of your unborn generations. In a sane world these leaders would be put to death, but here you are planning on how to vote them in again.

For the first time since 2011, I logged in the website and all my details are still in the database. I'm really surprised because I never thought my PVC is still valid. I also changed my poling unit from Oyo state to very close to my house. Isn't that a miracle

Thanks very much. I never knew the site has started going. after reading your update I had to go to their website to transfer my PVC to my new location. I've done that already and awaiting their response.

Things are now so easy, I've never voted in Nigeria before, but today I broke that yoke and registered my pvc on-line. And also changed my poling unit online to a ward very close to my house. As an Igbo man, for the first time I feel there is a reason to vote. I've sent this to over 30 of friends and they have all registered.

If everything can be done online awaiting collection of the voters card, why do people with android phones still go to INEC office for registration?

What you did on your phone is to book an appointment with INEC for the main capture of your picture on the card when it will come. Check details of your registration, can you see an appointment date there?

I think you are expected to go to an INEC office in your local government where they will enter your details again on their system using a registration number you generated on your phone, they will capture you and also print and give you a slip like POS containing a longer INEC generated number and other details. It is this slip that will be used to trace your voter's card when they bring. THIS IS WHAT MANY PEOPLE INCLUDING MUSELF HAVE DONE.

Thanks for the enlightenment. I just revalidated as a voter.

Problem is, I didn't quite see the part where I would be asked to make a choice of the new polling centre/unit

Where did I miss it? Mine is a twin problem: my PVC got defaced coupled with the fact that I relocated.

This has to be the best option for me because creating the time to spare on those queues would be very hard for me.

PS;
I've been able to complete the application to have my PU transferred to a place of choice now.

You just save me a hell lot of stress. Thank you very much

the way I understand it, an application for a transfer of Polling Unit, once successful, invalidates the PVC yet to be retrieved because a new one bearing the new choice, and any/authorized changes may have been effected and issued

no it's not, you are given the option to take those picture using your phone. The only thing that was needed was biometrics aka fingerprint. And that's it, it saves you the stress of capturing and all. They won't also put in your data again, because you have already pre registered
