I visited Mazi Nnamdi Kanu, yesterday, (Friday, 13th May, 2022) to felicitate with him and also as part of the wider consultations with critical stakeholders in search of lasting peace and security in the South East. He was in very high spirits and we had quality and frank discussion in a very convivial atmosphere. He expressed sadness over what he described as “sacrilegious killings” of innocent persons, kidnappings and all forms of criminalities, including the brutal enforcement of the senseless “sit at home” perpetuated by sundry groups claiming to be acting for or on behalf of IPOB. He assured that if the opportunity arises, he will be glad to personally broadcast to his followers to maintain the peace. Together, we shall restore peace, security and prosperity in Anambra and the Southeast. It is well indeed! CC. No sane leader will be happy to see people he’s fighting for being brutalized, killed and economy destroyed the way UGM are marauding in South East. I’m well convinced that Kanu won’t be happy hearing all those criminal activities being perpetrated in his name. It is wise for the DSS to avail him the opportunity to give a press statement that he’s not in support of any killing or sit-at-home order. Whaooooo……. The truth is that no Igbo deserve to be the president and commander in chief of the armed forces of Nigeria. How can the political and religious leaders of the SE cuddle with a hunchback terrorist who orchestrated the killings of Nigeria’s armed forces and still request for the presidency to be zoned to them? No Igbo leader has ever condemned namadi cownu’s led Ipigs/ESN terrorists for their barbaric acts and these people want the armed forces of Nigeria to have an Igbo as their commander in chief? This is akin to the Jan 15, 1966 coup where predominantly Igbo military officers killed leaders from other regions and Ironsi refused to prosecute them for their treasonous acts of usurping the Balewa government. Sometimes diplomacy can take you a long way than gra gra. diplomacy has proven to solve huge problems in the history of mankind, it has averted bloodsheds, war and so on. everything is not force all the time, because sometimes force makes things worse and if aim achieved things will never be the same again. something buhari failed to understand that lead to all these mess we are today. take it or leave it NO POLITICIAN commands the respect Kanu commands in the east and even some parts of South. hate him or like him, he's loved by the people, he has flaws as a human and miscalculate at times but who doesn't have flaw and miscalculate? I hope the meeting will be fruitful to bring everlasting peace to my state and region all together. I have alot to do in Owerri but I actually ban inter state travel for almost a year except routs like Enugu and Delta. I want to resume. Anambra men are wise. anyị nwelu ako n'uche. I hope UGM/ESN funders sit every Monday that place they live and even during Nnamdi kanus court case. Most of all this people saying sit at home don't even do business in the east. Or Abia and Anambra where the main business is in east. These people are hypocrites even our brothers in Lagos and Abuja and all over Nigeria don't even observe sit at home Monday. Atleast Nigeria will know how serious it is. But we join hands in killing our economy in the east and be flourishing other states bizness. So so daft of us. Sit at home is must be stopped even during kanus court cases.We are tired. Yet these igbo hypocrites outside east will still go on with their various bizness. Are we not just fooling ourselves? If we want any serious development to take place in this state.Have been saying this since the inception of ipob. Ndi Anambra , this is the time to take our land. We have the money, manpower and all it takes to reclaim our land from all these criminals living and pepetrating crimes in the state. ESN/UGM is the most useless group on this crust. Things noticed. Soludo is a good governor. for a sitting governor to openly go and meet him and even take pictures with him that shows a lot Nnamdi has a change of cloth.
