See what actually killed Deborah & lessons Christians should learn from her death.

It is with a great sense of responsibility that I condemn the brutal killing of our sister, friend, course mate, cousin, colleague, member and fellow Nigerian, Ms. Deborah.

The manner at which she died was so barbaric and horrible.
I heartily express my condolences to her family, friends, course mates and everyone who feels the pain of her demise.

Now, let's look at something I think if she had done or avoided, wouldn't have led to her horrible end.
Nigeria is a country that houses several religions. And, the Nigerian constitution has to some extent, been able to keep the practitioners together to achieve what looks like peaceful coexistence. When it comes to believe and Faith, every religion takes them seriously. But, to the extent of taking lives for the sake of a religion that you met here in the physical world is what drives me round the bend. There are numerous cases where a Muslim man has saved christian brothers from harm and there have also been instances, where christians saved and fed Muslims too. The traditional practitioners are also good people who have shown kindness to both Muslims and Christians. Both Islam and Christianity to some extent, have redlines. The traditional religion is not exempted. In fact, as individuals, you have boundaries that you don't want anyone to cross. But, how you react to those who cross your redlines explains how tolerant, good and human you are. When mortals fight for their God, I ask, is your God not powerful enough to deal with anyone who blasphemes it? But then, no one enjoys blasphemy against his/her faith.
The major problem in Sokoto particularly is ignorance and lack of education. Majority of the youths are not educated to know that certain things are wrong. Those who are educated from the North and are Muslims would not take laws into their hands. Although, some supposed educated persons from the North have expressed satisfaction on the death of Deborah. Those fellows are not up to a handful.

Among what people think sponsored the killing of Deborah is the fact that the attack was targeted at Ndigbo. Well, I can't say what the perpetrators had in mind. But, was Deborah from the South East? No! You would be closer if you thought it was targeted at Christians, but was that their intent? I suppose not. You see, if Deborah was a Muslim, they would have killed still. However, the incident is subject to diverse interpretations.

At this point, lets look at things this way. If you're a Christian, this part is dedicated to you; learn something.
The allegations were that Ms. Deborah, when asked how she passed her exams, she replied that it was Jesus Christ. Secondly, that she went ahead to call "nonsense" the religious contents posted on their school Whatsapp group. Thirdly, that she responded with "Holy Ghost Fire", saying that nothing would happen to her. Lastly, that she has been doing that repeatedly and wouldn't apologize whenever she was asked to do so.

Christians Listen Carefully and learn these:

1. God is not a kid
2. He has given you the privilege to choose between life and death; and even advised that you choose life.
3. Your destiny lies in your own hands
4. God will not shield you when you're wrong
6. Your sins might be forgiven, but you must face the consequences - whatever you sow, you shall reap.

Ignorance also played out in Ms. Deborah. She thought that because she believed in God and was a true Christian, that God would protect her from the perpetrators after she ignited their anger and refused to apologize. Not to mention that she called Holy Ghost Fire too to take charge. I'm sorry to say, but you see that passage in the Bible that says that 'my people perish for lack of knowledge', it played a very big role in her death. Well, that might be her time to join her ancestors, but what if she had retracted her comments from the Whatsapp group and apologized? What do you think? In such instance, God would have prevented her horrible end. But you see, Christians are too familiar with their God that they proudly cross the boundaries of others and assure you that their God would protect them. I repeat, nature is not your mate.

This is not to blame the dead, but to let today's christians know that it is important we treat others with regards to humanity instead of religion. Also to Muslims, without humanity, religion would be impossible.
You may not have read about the traditional brethren a lot in this piece. This is because these guys are always focused in their thing. In fact, they are at the receiving end whenever there's a misunderstanding between them and Christians. Christians derive pleasure in burning their shrines and holy places. This is also condemnable. Everyone has the right to religion. We Christians must recognize and respect other religions as we expect them to respect Christianity.

Conclusively, what actually killed Deborah was ignorance on the part of the perpetrators, coupled with ignorance and pride in Ms. Deborah's part. The condemnable mob actions served as a means, whether you believe it or not.

I must commend you for you’ve done some good works of knowing some truths

The messiah is also son of God but in human flesh, He is God on earth and will be God on earth after he’s come back

Many here are carried away by religion but don't know that the truth is beyond religion. It's a Revelation. A truth ppl must seek earnestly before they can find it. This is why I tell them that many things they read in all their religious books first have their root in their African histories/tradition/Culture. The pink men who are very cunning and want continually rule over Africans twisted the histories to what we all know today. I commend you also for always trying to seek and search out the truth
