Ephesians 2: 1 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins.
Colossians 2:13 When you were dead in your sins and in the uncircumcision of your flesh, God made you alive with Christ. He forgave us all our sins

A sinner is spiritually death. He has no life. The life of a believer is in Jesus. The moment a man believes in Christ, he receives the life of Christ. John 3:16 ...that whosoever believes in him shall not perish but have everlasting life.

In as much as if it looks as if the sinner is the one giving he his actually receiving. You can actually give your life for the gospel but it not at the point of salvation. People have died for the gospel, some have given their time, resources, family and other things for the gospel. When you come to the point when you can give your all for the sake of Christ then you know you have given your life to Christ

This doesn't make any sense at all. undecided

Jesus Christ said that those who want to become worthy of Him are those who abandon it all for His sake - family, friends, career, job, reputation, money etc. - in order to become His followers. Meaning that all those who don't do this to begin with are not of Him and have no share in His Heaven. undecided

You can read the above as saying that those who refuse to do as Jesus Christ commands are those who enter into the Kingdom of God through the Broad Gate which leads to destruction whereas those who do all that Jesus Christ said is necessary to becoming worthy of Him are those who will enter into the Kingdom of God through the Narrow Gate which leads to True Life - Matthew 7 vs 13 - 14 - and the fascinating thing about this can and does happens at point of becoming born-again aka Salvation -John 3 vs 1 - 8 - contrary to what you claim.. undecided
