To IPOB folks, Nnamdi Kanu is considered as a saint, a liberator, and a leader whose means to actualising Biafra justifies the end- This is the psyche of the Igbos

In a country they consider as Zoo, lawless and with increasing evidence to back that claims up on daily basis, it's even more convincing to them that their means to actualizing Biafra justifies the end in a presumed lawless state

The most aggravating and annoying for the IPOB is this: They found the incarceration of NMK as selective justice, double standard and unjust to their leader.

This is why:
We may ask ourselves,in recent times, various insurgent factions have come to destabilize the peace of Nigeria for certain grievances or the other, but amongst all of these factions with their respective leaders, none of all insurgent leaders has been given the Nnamdi Kanu Treatment;
Not any leader of Bokoharam captured, not even Sekau,.cos he keeps appearing and disappearing in different human form. Never was a serious attempt at capturing any leader of other insurgent faction

This to the IPOB is the height of double standard injustice and selective profiling.
This is why they are getting more angry, and determined to use any means to their end, and are not backing down soon.

I think there's need for the Nigerian govt to approach sensitive security issues with fairness, diplomacy and be circumspective in their actions. Otherwise they may be causing more problems with their one-sided kneejerked approach to issue.

You can not exonerate the govt from the madness going on in the north and East, unless u don't want peace or compromise to be reached anytime soon. Govt failed in its approach of tackling insecurity in the north, Fulani herdsmen and the economy. IPOB is the spill off.

So Nnamdi Kanu should be given Mohammed Yusuf the late bokoharam leader treatment in detention.

By now, most towns should have organized street protests against the sit at home and senseless killings by Ipob affiliated groups. Denounce Ipob and Nnamdi KANU publicly. The man and his group are not fighting for Igbos rather they are instilling fear in the people through violence to maintain their iinfluence and ideology over them. Soludo has seen that the people still have a high degree of support for KANU which is why he went to KANU directly to appeal for a ceasefire. His mistake is not knowing that Nnamdi KANU is a hardened secessionist, all Ipob members swear oath of 'Biafra or death' before admittance that is why they can never renege.

The violence in Anambra will stop when Anambra people become really fed up of the whole nonsense but for now, there is still strong support for the violent sit at home enforcement in the state by Anambra people who live in other states and in other countries and who are financing the terrorism through their Ipob/ESN contributions. Ebonyi people resisted them and they didn't find that place conducive for germination.

No influential Anambra personality have spoken out to condemn the destruction and violence in the state. They have all maintained a code of silence for whatever reason but their silence have been loud enough. The few half hearted outbursts in the social media have been by inconsequential nonentities at best whose opinions are drowned out by those who won't blame the ESN economic and social saboteurs but the people who don't comply with the stay indoors order.

Anambra people cannot have it both ways. You cannot support these criminals covertly and expect peace, because it is not uncommon to still see and hear a sizeable number of Anambra people refer to these UGM as freedom fighters.

May peace be restored to Anambra state.

Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB stand for freedom, justice and equity. Why are most Nigerians afraid of disintegration of the shithole called Nigeria? Nigeria in the next four centuries cannot be compared with USSR of the last century. The answer to menace of IPOB, if any, is disintegration of the shithole called Nigeria. What is the life-threatening issue about disintegration of the zoo called Nigeria?

There are laid down procedures for disintegration, it is not by killing your fellow Igbos, to spite Buhari when Buhari does not even care.
