Nigeria, The Way Forward.

I strongly believe Nigeria constitution ought to be redressed to curtail the modus operandi and over zealousness of politicians to clinging in to political offices.
This could prove crucial because most such politicians barely have the interest of the masses at heart, rather they are mostly interested to enriching their pockets. On the contrast, checking the politicians of the western world, they are barely richer than their common industrialist, but here in Nigeria just a post of a councillor enriches someone to a multi-milloionaire at the detriment of the masses. Consequently they want to stay and keep vying for more and more political offices to keep looting money and enriching their families.

The constitution can be redressed to curtail this and also help to minimize corruption. it would also help to checkmate the rate at which we recycle same crops of thieves into elective offices. The big question is why should someone who have served in the capacity of GCON (vice president), Deputy Governor, of which these positions are parts and parcel of an expired dispensation come out to aspire for the position of President, Governor. What's their aim,... probably to loot more public treasury. On the other hand, it's funny that a senator could stay in the red chamber for as long as 20years and still counting doing nothing but squandering constituency allocation.

The constitution can also limit their tenure to 8years as applicable to other political offices.
With this I strongly believe Nigeria leadership system can improve from bad to good.
