The organisers got it right this time, especially with the choice of D'banj and Simi as judges. The former is a certified performer/entertainer while the latter can actually really sing to save lives!

The edition that had that DJ and Seyi Shey with her sadistic self, acting like though she was pitting herself against the contestants was a flop.

Congrats to the winner and other contestants who threw their hats into the ring!

from audition to top Ten.
I fell in love with Progress voice the very first day he he did audition .
Zadok was great in capturing the audiences, it was a very entertaining moment for me.
I'm going to miss all of them, the judges and the presenter.

Progress has emerged the winner of the popular music talent show Nigerian Idol Season 7 sponsored by TECNO. This was announced at the grand finale tonight.

The show’s host, IK Osakioduwa, announced Progress as the winner after he battled with Zadok, for the grand prize worth N100m.

After weeks of watching the top 12 contestants singing their hearts out on the live shows to earn fan votes, Progress and Zadok emerged as the final two.

For the finale, D’banj and Simi, who are also judges for the show, performed on stage and thrilled the audience.

As the winner of the competition, Progress goes home with a cash prize up to [b]100M inclusive an SUV.
