I just discovered that Glo, Airtel and 9mobile network providers are using Nigerian politicians style of approach to their business.

MTN has so far outperformed them all.

Glo and airtel are doing adverts to give out 20K to customers to attract their customers to both patronise them and link their NIN. Why not use those money to improve on your network and reach more people with at least 3G network? Glo is good at establishing 2G while airtel is good at establishing one single mast in a very large area. 9mobile is good at establishing 2G & 3G or so and switch off the mast, most times you can't even browse while having full network on your 9mobile line.

This is why people has preferred to only activate their MTN lines by linking their NIN and avoid linking their other lines.

The only solution is that Glo and Airtel would invest heavily in quality network service and not to be begging people with 20k to come and suffer on their network.

Good analysis.

I hope they learn. MTN is better because the CEO is into the business himself. Other networks are owned by people who don't even understand how network works, they only understand that they're doing business and that's all. Go to any part of Nigeria you must have MTN 3G and 4G network available but you will barely get other network's 2G in such places. They're scared of spending money on their business they carry the aboki mindset that things are expensive. Let them keep throwing away their money into scammy adverts. Nigerians are now wise.
