One banker told me that with the sort of money in this country, if politicians were working with just 10%, that this country would be competing with Europe.
With the hype around Peter Obi, there has been two questions in my mind. If he is as good as people say, why isn't Anambra close to becoming like Europe? Granted, a few times I have passed through the state, it does seem to have the best road network when compared to any other state I've been to. But in terms of massive development, I haven't noted that it is fantastically different from any other Nigerian state.

Furthermore, Peter Obi doesn't seem to have the will to fight. How can he stop the vultures bleeding the country dry if he couldn't even fight the PDP crooked politicians to a standstill? Unless there's something I'm missing, the odds against Peter in his quest to make Nigeria a working country is too high. It may just be just it - hype, since the negro race has not been known to know how to get things done. Peter may just be any other Nigerian politician, after all, Buhari was once a messiah you all were waiting for.

Peter Obi ran Anambra when it was the poorest state in Nigeria. Mind you he was impeached 3 times during his tenute.

For him to transform Anambra from what was left of it after 4 terrifying years of Gov Chinwoke Mbadinuju (the worst governor of a state ever), means he's a great achiever.

Peter Obi is God sent to fix Nigeria. I am shocked that someone still doubt it even after he has proven this fact beyond reasonable doubt.

Which of these politicians shine away from the current bribery going on? Are they bribing for your interest?

Omo! use your head ooo

Don't be deceived with the Pandora on line supporters. nothing special in Anambra state in terms of the infrastructure development.
Most of the roads the Pandora thief constructed are no more motorable.

When did Peter obi leave office?

If they are no longer motorable, what is the job of the past and current governor?

I agree that he is modest, honest and all. What I am asking is, with what I heard and still hear about him, I'll want to see things on ground, whether human capital or otherwise that shows that the revolution has started in Anambra. Are their politicians NOW different from the Nigerian crooks all over the place parading as leaders? How has the state become exemplary and a model after Obi? We are used to all these window pictures. Don't get me wrong, I believe that Obi is the best but who are we comparing him with. What we have had in Nigeria are mediocre leaders. From Obasanjo to YarAdua to Jonathan to Buhari, there has never been an outstanding leader. Now we have Peter Obi, who sounds very intelligent and with a road-map. How has that translated in real-time for Anambra that he led? For me, Anambra should be competing with Singapore or Europe for me to believe that there is a black man with the capacity to do something remarkable.

In Imo state, the people look back and say that their first governor was outstanding. Sam Mbakwe embarked on massive industrialization of the state, opened up rural areas by building roads and connecting them to the national grid. He borrowed massively but people saw the outcome as airport, roads, industries and pipe borne water to their homes. If the military didn't stop his roadmap, I'm sure that in Imo, people would have had gas piped to their homes like in Europe and US. So the question is, I want evidence to show that Peter Obi is not just one-eyed man in the land of the blind (Nigerian crooked politicians who have nothing upstairs and so nothing to deliver downstairs).

Stop the hype about PO. I lived and worked in Anambra during his tenure. Nothing outstanding about him. I can give specifics. He managed Anambra. Do you pray that Nigeria becomes what Anambra was under him as compared to Lagos at the same period? He managed Fidelity with nothing serious to show... nothing! Politically, he is also ordinary. So what is it?

As an aspirant himself with no power of any office, How was he he supposed to fight Aspirants that were bribing delegates with 20,15 and 10 thousand dollars.

What exactly was he supposed to do. Beat them. Kill them, beg them ?? He has done the honourable thing and left the place for them to pursue his ambition on another platform thereby exposing them for all to see.

That is the best he could do in those circumstances.

Some of you don't know how things work. The banker that told you that, does he know what a budget is?

Do he even know how many sectors a country operates on?

Check the budgets of states in the United States. Those budgets have ran for years yet they are deficient in infrastructure.

This mind set is why many fail in government. They think there is too much money to work with.

Before you expose your foolishness here. Bring the sea port to Anambra. Bring the border between Nigeria and benin republic to Anambra.

Bring international airport and embassies to Anambra.

Then ensure that all multinational companies have their headquarters in Anambra, before your foolish comparison with lagos.

By the time buhari took over, almost all the states were in need of bailout funds. All the states in the South east, went for bailout except Anambra state.

All the states in the south west went for bailout except lagos.

Anambra was the least indebted state in Nigeria.

It tells you that peter obi would do far better with lagos resources.

Common sense is truly not common.

The criminals you are supporting against Peter Obi including the one that sold half of Lagos state for himself and corners 10% revenue of the 5th biggest economy in Africa to his pocket, why haven't they made their various states to be like America?

Why?? Even with Lagos with 50x revenue than Anambra, why is Anambra beating Lagos in feasibility, education, security and human capital?

But compared to other politicians contesting for presidency. He looks like a choirboy.

Chai. Your thinking level though.
You should know that he meant putting Nigeria's economy in a path of progress to becoming like china's. Not making Nigeria China under 8 years. China didn't not become what it is today under a decade.
And don't compare a governor with a president. The powers and leverages that is available to the president , can enable, without hindrance, to institute policies to drive the country in new and promising direction .

I think some of you here , should resort to reading good books, as your leaders have failed to entrust you with responsibilities that would have enlighten you.
