The only way APC can beat Atiku right now is to field Lawan, GEJ and maybe Amaechi, Tinubu will get easily betrayed by his own closest allies and the greater North aside from his party members see him as too over-ambituos and desperate...I like Osinbanjo but the bad stain of Buhari's government which has become unpopular in recent years among the North might work against him, yet Osinbanjo looks to be a more likeable and nationally appealing candidate than Tinubu.

Lastly, if power must come to the South, then a Southern Christian from APC is the joker card to beat PDP.

Whatever the case may be APC will get higher percentage in the NE than PDP come 2023 because 3 APC Governors from NE (Borno, Gombe and Yobe) are coming for the second time and it will be a big boost for the party in the zone.

199-2011 was entirely different story. There was no strong opposition party then . PDP was the biggest political party in Africa during those years. So any of their presidential candidate is sure of Victoria irrespective of North or South. But the story is different now .
