This is a tough one! It appears that the boy was adopted long before the couple was blessed by a girl. Both must have lived as siblings for a long while before the thought of marriage. Methinks they have been doing it since and they want to make it official. Please if you want them to get married, just announce to the world that they are not actually siblings lest they accuse them of incest!

Adopted children have the same rights as those of the biological children of their adopted parents. They are entitled to the inheritance of their adopted parents, and the parents cannot disown or return them to the orphanage if say, they don't want them anymore. On the other hand, the biological parents of the adopted child cannot reclaim their child from the family that adopted them because the kids are considered kids of the adopted parents.

In other words, an adopted child is considered a sibling of the biological child, and so they cannot marry.

I think that is what happened with Whitney Houston’s daughter and her adopted son.
Not morally advisable and didn’t end well in their case.
