Former Aviation Minister, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, has been caught in a web, with his being announced today into the presidential campaign committee of Senate President Ahmad Lawan, despite the maverick politician being appointed in April as Deputy National Coordinator of the presidential campaign organisation of the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello.

It is not clear how and if Fani-Kayode can serve two people with conflicting interest.

However, earlier today, the Ahmad Lawan Campaign Organisation rolled out its list of appointment, with former Governor of Abia state and current Chief Whip of the 9th Senate, Senator Orji Uzor Kalu, taking the post of Director-General, and Femi Fani Kayode as the Deputy Chairman for Media and Publicity.

It translates to Fani-Kayode serving two presidential aspirants, both of whom are vying for the ticket the All Progressives Congress (APC).

He was on April 1 announced as Deputy National Coordinator for Bello, serving under Hafsat Abiola-Costello, daughter of the late June 12 hero, Bashorun Moshood Abiola (Director-General), and Senator Jonathan Zwingina (National Coordinator).

Making the disclosure at a high-powered meeting in Abuja today Thursday was the Ahmad Lawan Central Campaign Organisation, which also announced the appointment of executives to eight committees.
