Irrespective of how you see it, one thing stands out and that is the fact that Tinubu has been supportive of people in the past and a lot of people saw that and felt it will be unfair to deliberately denied him the chance to fight for himself even if he is not to be supported. I have always said and I will repeat that Briafra or whatever they coin it, is not the solution to the problem of the South Easterners.

Let’s assume there is a referendum and they are allow to leave Nigeria tomorrow, the infighting will become worst. The Anamberians don’t like the Enugus, Imolites don’t like those from Ebonyi. Anglicans don’t like Catholics, and the list is endless.

The South Easterners don’t have unity of purpose. They are like the Biblical Esau and will rather sell their birth right for a plate of porridge, than pursue a common political purpose.

Nice write up... they're always blaming people for their self inflicted problem, always bitter and envious of Yoruba people. Imagine Orji uzor kalu campaigning for Lawan because of his selfish interest. A party hated so much by an avarege ibo man. OUK and entire south east leaders invested all their life in PDP.
