Igbo Christians with their 5% irrelevant votes will vote for Obi and that’s all.
Yoruba Muslims with their 3% votes will vote for tinubu and that's all.Tinubu won't get any votes in the south without paying 25k$ like he did in the primaries

Do Buhari resemble someone that will rig election for Tinubu? Even Buhari will not support a Moslem Moslem ticket.

If you have been to Kano, Katsina and Kaduna, you will understand that the North has a very large Christian population.

NE has more Christians than NW while NC has more Christians than the two combined.

Do you think they will vote for Moslem Moslem ticket, when they have options?

I don't think so.

Tinubu will lose SE and SS, if he dares a Moslem Moslem ticket.

A lot of Yoruba Christians and pastors will campaign against him. Do you think Oyedepo, Adeboye and Kumuyi will endorse his Moslem-Moslem ticket?

I don't think so.

Now, let assume he goes ahead and pick a Moslem VP from NE.

Do you think NW moslems will leave Kwankwanso and Atiku for him?

If he picks a NW Moslem VP, do you think NE will abandon Atiku for him?

Osinbanjo was the surest plug to bring power down to the South.

Yorubas blew it.

No sane man who is sensitive to other people's feelings will contemplate Muslim and Muslim tickets.

Christians constitute over seventy percent of Nigeria population both from the north, south and east

I have read a lot of people saying "no to Muslim-Muslim ticket" even before Asiwaju emerged. Now that he has emerged as the standard bearer of APC with Atiku as the major challenge to him, I wonder why a Muslim-Muslim ticket of Tinubu presidency is not better than a return of the presidency to north possibly for another eight years after 8 years of PMB.

Like or loathe APC, it has demonstrated being a truly progressive party by standing with a return of the presidency to the South even after Atiku had emerged as PDP's candidate. PDP damned everything common sense by making Atiku emerge with possibility of keeping the presidency in the north and a lot of people seem not to care because PDP is doing what they need to do to win the election without considering fairness and equity.

I am strongly convinced that when the time comes, majority of voters will side with an APC' Muslim-Muslim ticket which returns presidency to the south and reject a Muslim-Christian ticket which keeps the presidency to the north for another eight years to make it 16 straight years of Northern dominance.
We are voting Peter Obi. A southerner and the most qualified candidate

I agree completely with the OP. This choice is now before us especially southerners. We either endure power returns to the south through Tinubu or it remains in the north with Atiku.
. So after Buhari you never still endure finish that's very good

Nothing wrong with a Muslim/Muslim ticket as long as the duo are capable. The southwest people are very tolerant when it comes to religion and they won't mind if it's Muslim/Muslim.

So because of that we should have Muslim Muslim ticket and suffer like southern Kaduna

You're just being clever by half. Just say you're an ethnic champion and want power to return to Yoruba

That whole power return to south for equity is just nonsense abi na only Yoruba get south

Same south west that aligned to give Nigerians this Buhari regime and also benefited 8 years vice president and so many juicy positions from it

Una dey talk of greed yet absolve unaself from greed. U lots are quite cunny I will give you that. E done dey obvious Una be real power mongers yet use southern agenda to blackmail north. Well enjoy the game Una good at Naija politics beside there's an evil pact between south west and the north since after the civil war to ensure a certain zone doesn't get leadership even if the person from that zone na Jesus or Muhammed

Now Nigeria two main problems, ethnicity and religions don finally clash now.
I always knew a time will come, one would still destroy the other eventually.
Since the ruling party has changed the settings of rotating the presidency between Christians and Muslims, then Muslim-Muslim ticket self na new normal be that.
presidency going back to the north too is a new normal.

Your arrogant approach to this response self shows how passionate you are to deliver on the job APC uchins has paid you for

The truth is The North will NEVER reject their own! ATIKU IS THE NEXT PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA...
It may not be morally great, but that's how this country has been structured. #weneedanewconstitution

Yes, you can vote LP or any other party. However, APC and PDP remain the two front runners and they naturally enjoy more focus and attention now.

Atiku is already better than tinubu, age and health wise even in fairness Atiku is better. Human rights he is better.

Muslim/Muslim ticket is dangerous because it sets the precedent to relegating Christians to 2nd or 3rd class citizens. It is a dirty slap on our faces.

Any Christian who votes this Muslim/Muslim ticket should not complain when Sharia is forced down on us for being passive and docile to the Muslims.

There is nothing to compare or rationalise. Power going the North is not a crime Jonathan ruled after Yaradua demise having served 2years for the North after obasanjos 8years.

Muslim/Muslim ticket is a dangerous precedent.

It will Never ever happen!!!!!

The problem of Nigeria is Tribalism, Religion and Ethnicity... Despite the sufferings, a yoruba would rather choose his country man over credible candidates, and Hausa would like power to remain there, and Igbo would wish they test power as its their right... In all these we still fall back into the hands of our oppressors. Can't we just do the right thing once?
