Hey Nlers. Forgive the length of this post.

I was invited to join a research agency (KMC Insight) to carry out a mapping exercise for Company xyz.
We were asked to map 25 outlets daily for a period of 40days and the pay was agreed to be 90k.
I was happy when I got the job. I have been jobless since I returned from service and the invite to me was a blessing, So I though.

Starting the contract, I discovered it wasn't as easy as I thought. The job was very stressful. We almost trecked the whole of Port hacourt. I thought of quiting at a point but was encouraged by friends to continue.

3 weeks into the contract, it was discovered my colleague and I have covered the whole of Obio/Akpo lga and Port Harcourt so our supervisor asked us to stop that the contract has ended so we should submit our devices and wait for our pay.

We did waited for about 2weeks without hearing from the CEO so was asked him on our platform. Surprisingly, Mr Kelechi, our CEO told us that the contract hasn't ended. He promised to get back to us and we all agreed.

Some weeks later, no update from Mr. Kelechi so we dragged him on our platform only for him to tell us that the contract is officially over. Like what! So if we hadn't dragged him, he wouldn't have told us about the contract ending.

Way forward, Kelechi asked us to submit our devices so that Company xyz can pay us. Some 9f us complied while some refused because of the way we were been treated. After much pleading, those holding the devices agreed and returned theirs.

After the submission, Mr. Kelechi went mute on us. We have begged and done everything we can for him to pay us but oga refused.

Please you guys should help us beg this man to pay us. Below are screenshot of the chats from our platform .

You worked for him, you did your job, he has to pay you, you shouldn't beg for what you deserve!

And for the man, it's stuffs like this I just overlook and move on and wait for karma or let his conscience hunt him down, but unfortunately, people don't have conscience in Nigeria anymore, they killed it and burried it a long time ago

Mr. Kelechi blocked us from posting in the general group when we started complaining. Some members of company xyz are there in the group so we were asked not post anything that will make Mr. Kelechi appear bad before the company that awarded him the contract. After talking to him on our private group without any response, we had no option than to drag him in the general group.

As i type, Mr. Kelechi has changed the group settings to "only admins".
