I woke up to a debit alert of #1075 on my first bank account. I checked the details and they said it's for card reissuance.
Problem is: i didn't initiate any transaction for card reissuance as i have not used an ATM card since 2020.
The bank just woke up and decided I needed one.
All this small small fraud in this country, when will it end??
It's not even only me. There are millions of people complaining on Twitter and the bank just dey air all of us .

not only first bank. The worse criminal in this act is Eco bank.


Opened a new Eco bank account,and decided to just fund it with one thousand Naira before I deposit huge sum. Woke up after about two days later they debited it ,and the debit description said it is card issuance fee, yet no card was issued.


A friend of mine who was a former staff,even before I finished narrating the issue to him, he concluded it for me that " Dem debit am for card" . He said that is how they behave.


Yet no card was issued.
