It's either some Nigerians don't think critically or they just like being mischievous. Asking Peter Obi to withdraw for Atiku or join him as Vice is not just laughable but also a very stupid and myopic idea. Now let's look at the facts below: 1. There are 4 major contestants from 4 different regions, also 2 from both North and South. 2. There are 3 Muslims and 1 Christian. The two factors above used to be the most important traditional reasons that influence voters i.e. ethnicity/region and religion. However, a 3rd factor i.e. integrity/commitment has been added now. When you consider the fact that Peter Obi is the only Christian contesting against 3 Muslims, in a country that has almost equal number of both adherents, then it becomes obvious that Peter Obi has the advantage over the rest, including Atiku Abubakar. Demographically, Atiku is from NE, an ethnically heterogeneous region that would be difficult to give a block vote. On the other hand, Peter Obi is from SE, an ethnically homogeneous region that can give block vote. The catchment region to Atiku's NE is NC a region that has more Christians than Moslems and has very little affinity to Atiku's NE. Where as, SE and SS have strong affinity, and it's very easy for Peter Obi to capture both regions (SE/SS) as strongholds. In other words, Obi has 2 regions South East & South South, Atiku has 1 region North East, Kwankwaso has 1 region North West and Tinubu has 1 South West. Outside their bases, Peter Obi can still get massive votes from NC, Lagos and Abuja. The only advantage Atiku would have had as Muslim or being from North has been neutralized already. The only factor he is counting on now is PDP structure Nationwide and his excess money. Same applies to Tinubu with APC. The largest number of Nigerians belong to the age bracket between 18 and 40 years, and this demography are the millions currently collecting their PVC's massively. They're from all ethnicities and religious affilitians. These millions of Nigerians are not passing through hell to get their PVC in hopes of voting Atiku's PDP or Tinubu's APC, they're obviously doing so for Peter Obi's Labour Party. Lastly, when you also consider that LP is a party that belongs to Nigerian Labour Congress and Trade Unions, then you will understand that Peter Obi now holds the four aces. Therefore, it's utter foolishness asking Peter Obi to withdraw for Atiku when he has a brighter chance of winning the election. 6 Likes |

Lol. You guys are very funny . Who gave you the thought that Obi will win 2023 elections? Like how? I don’t understand sha, una dey funny sha. I wish him well and I think one day, Ibo people should be supported to win presidency but that time is not in 2023. If you vote for Obi, you are reducing bloc votes for PDP in SE. If SE vote for PDP, KWankwaso can snatch up to 40% votes from APC in Kano and Jigawa, leaving PDP most of NE and some parts of NW, SS and some parts of NC. APCnaPDP: You're either shortsighted or deliberately mischievous. It's your type that claimed that Peter Obi supporters are only on social media, they don't live in Nigeria, they don't have voters card bla bla bla, but now they've all dropped their smart phones to get PVC. They're doing so in their millions and INEC is finding it difficult to cope with the unprecedented rush. Not even up half of Nigerians that register for voters card end up voting. Many don't even bother to register but today you can see them all over the country literally passing through hell just to get their PVC and you think they won't vote on election day? Or they would vote for Tinubu or Atiku? If you understand how bandwagon effect works, then you will understand that most other Nigerians will fall in line behind Peter Obi as we get closer to the election. If elections are held today, Peter Obi's Labour Party will SE, SS, Lagos and Abuja while picking up significant votes in other regions! Talk more of what will happen in February next year.
