Can Ndiigbo Truly Trust Peter Obi? by Igboid: 5:14pm On Jun 13, 2022
While it sounds good to have an Igbo man as president of NIGERIA, the big question though is: Can Ndiigbo trust Peter Obi.

We can all recall vividly how Obi dealt ruthlessly with MASSOB in Anambra during his era as the governor.
It is true that MASSOB got derailed and degenerated into nuisance to Ndiigbo all over Onitsha.
But does that justify the high-handed nature Obi handled them?
It was during Obi tenure that we all woke up one morning and saw tens of lifeless bodies of young Igbo men floating in Ezu River that up till today, no one has given a concrete explanation on what truly transpired.

Obi has shown the penchant to deal mercilessly with Ndiigbo in bid to prove his one Nigeria disposition, because deny that all you like, that Ezu event Happened under Obi watch as the chief security officer of Anambra state. The buck of the blame stops at his office. He can't fully wash his hands off it.

As a matter of fact, I have never seen Obi show support to anything that has to do with Biafra or Igbo nationhood, he has always cunningly avoided getting involved, always eager to be seen to be a Nigerian nationalist.

I understand the Euphoria sweeping through Igboland over Obi emergence, but we must take a break and think about this thing.
Could it be possible we are supporting a man who is only Igbo just by name and not by mindset or even disposition?
A man who would be eager to kill our Igbo youths and dump them in Rivers or simply look the other way while the Nigerian military do so, just because our youths are pro Biafra?
Re: Can Ndiigbo Truly Trust Peter Obi? by Igboid: 5:17pm On Jun 13, 2022
I'm not a fan of Simon Ekpa, but he truly has a point.
His voice and opinion about Obi is currently a minority one in Igboland, but can we all pause a minute and take a closer look at it? Perhaps he has a point.

What if we all drop Biafra and jump on Obi wagon, and it turns out that Obi is only Igbo just by name, and we suffer even worst discrimination in Nigeria, or we don't have our marginalization addressed because Obi was too eager trying to be a nationalist and not be seen as pro Igbo as he has always done all his life.
Can we have the strength to go on with our Biafra agitation while Obi remains president, or worst suspend it, endure the marginalization so as not to be seen to be rocking a so called Igbo man regime?
The later scenario will make us look hypocritical before the rest of the world, because our renewed Biafra agitation post Obi would then be seen as a blackmail against the new regime.

Yes. What have Igbo's gained from IPOB? What have Simon Ekpa done for Igbo's? But gullible Igbo's are donating to his channel's.

He is scared that Peter Obi is affecting his online business.

It was also this disposition to be seen as nationalist and to not be seen to be championing anything that is strictly Igbo that made Obi run away from APGA immediately his tenure as governor elasped and rushed to PDP where he was frolicking and galivanting with GEJ all over the place.
Obi had a chance to stay in APGA , be it's grandpatron and build it to become a truly formidable Igbo party that could through quality leadership take over the rest of SE states and unite them as one, thus providing us with that sorely missed pan IGBO attitude towards national Politics and interactions with other Nigerians.

But God forbid that Obi be seen to be championing an Igbo nationalist cause. Obi in his now usual nature of avoiding pan Igbo ventures shirked away from that responsibility and ran to PDP where he can be seen as a Nigerian and not be tainted with APGA Igbo flavor.

In conclusion, while Ndiigbo continue raving about Obi, we must all look before we leap.
The past antecedent of Obi doesn't portray that of a man who cares about Igbo marginalization or for equity and fairness for SE.
If you are an Igbo and you are supporting Obi because you are hoping he can finally reverse some of the national policies instigated post civil war that has worked against the Igbo, I would admonish you take a closer look at Obi past history.
He might not be the man we are looking for.

Bro, your question/points are good.

But the big question now is.....

The bigger Umbrella of "marginalization", what are the sub particules in it??.

I believe the lower inclination/appointment of igbo sons are among the particles of this bigger Umbrella of Marginalization also the denial of igbo presidency by Nigerians and other things that team up to this marginalization.

Now, Obi coming out to erase at least 15% percent of the factors that is making us remember the scars of the civil is not something I can really see as a threat to Igbo nation. For sure Obi will not welcome IPOB and thier agitation if he assume as president, which in return the body of IPOB will tag SABO but can we please view the broader scale??.

In broader scale....... Obi assuming to the office of presidency will make some dead hearts among Igbos in things concerning Nigeria to be vivacious once more. It will make us stand once more with our two legs. It will make us regain our long Lost stamina in the political spheres of the nation. So I don't actually smell dust in the whole thing.

On the case of Ekpa. The guy is making a great mistake if you ask me. If I were him.....I won't enter fully to anything concerning obi. But I will do it partially.

I will simply enlighten biafrans that it's our last chance to test our fate in the failed contraption. By so, that we should all support our son obi. Try our very best, but should he fail......then we will have a good case against Nigerians. The case that we have fully noticed we ain't welcomed even when we try our very best. With this.....I will take the agitation to a higher level. It's not something to doubt that the huge fans of Obi will have nothing left but to believe in your agitation, because clearly they must seen by themselves that Nigeria ain't meant for them.

But as it stands now......Ekpa is only killing himself from within

This igboid ewu Gambia has never liked anything associated with Anambra people, your hate is real

Peter Obi movement is bigger than ipob miscreants and Wawa terrorist, know this and know peace

Peter Obi kill your people, of course he killed those Wawa miscreants disturbing Anambra state then and soludo is doing same thing now, Simon ikpa should advise his brothers to stop constituting nuisance in Anambra state by tagging themselves Igbos, we can't and will never support killings/kidnapping/ terrorist in Anambra state

Anambra state still remains the pride of the Igbos and must be jealousy protected. Oga, support your candidate in peace and never bring insecurity again in Igbo land. Goodnight

PETER OBI IS NOT AN IGBO PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE.

It is infinitely wrong to look at PETER OBI as an IGBO presidential candidate. I will tell u why.

When u drive ur car to a mechanic workshop, u do not worry about d tribe of the mechanic especially so, if u are assured of his competence. When u go to a hospital for an important surgery, u do not worry that the team of medical experts are not drawn from ur tribe, u want to live and whoever will give ur health the needed boost is welcome.

Hunger has no tribe. And, hunger has no religion.

Poverty has no tribe. And, poverty has no religion.

Acute sickness has no tribe. And, acute sickness has no religion.

Today, Nigerians are hungry, poor and sick. The majority of Nigerians are below d poverty line. Many have no access to good medicare. These issues cut across all tribes and cultures.

How do we solve the problem? How do we arrest the steady descent into hunger, poverty and sickness? Do we vote for the person who will likely win or do we vote to change the narrative? If u vote for the person who will likely win, but whom u know will not deliver, that makes u PUBLIC ENEMY NUMBER ONE because u are joining hands with our oppressors.

We must vote to change the narrative.

Just as u don't ask if the mechanic is from ur village or if the doctor is of ur tribe, we would not look at PETER OBI as an Igbo; we look at him as the mechanic who will put our economy in perfect shape, we look at him as the doctor who will rescue our economy from imminent and fatal collapse.

If u are not happy that no serious effort is being made to make our educational system functional and effective in the new era, then vote PETER OBI.
If u are not happy that we are borrowing to service debts and to fuel consumption then vote PETER OBI.
If u are not happy that most youths are unemployed and unemployable then vote for PETER OBI.
If u are not happy about the epileptic nature of electricity then vote for PETER OBI.

The question u must answer is: would u allow ur beautiful car to remain unusable because d mechanic is Igbo? Or, would u rather die than allow an Igbo expert to take care of our health?
Do u hate yourself that much, to allow poverty to destroy ur children when there is a genuine and legitimate way out through PETER OBI?

All youths must act now.

This is d last month for getting the PVC. We, the youths demonstrated in Lekki. What happened? They sent soldiers to kill us. The time has come for us to get involved in a way that they cannot kill us. Get ur PVC and get ready to flush these parasites in our nation away. We cannot miss this golden opportunity.

Let the youths arise!
Nigerians must reclaim their land.

When an Igbo man supports you, he does that because he believes in you.

The Igbo man has the ability to foresee disaster afar off. Them no dey support just anybody not even their own kinsmen.

Obi did very well by dealing with those nuisance before they turned into full scale terrorism like we have it today with IPOB.
We need more governors like him to emerge in SE next year.Biafra agitators has taken us backwards politically, economically and socially to the extent Ikwerre and Anioma has displaced us in national politics.IPOB have nothing to offer.
