How You Can Make Money by Starting Your Own Cartfish Business Even If You Do Not Have a Pond and with Very Little Capital

It all started 3 months ago while still in school (close to my final year exam), I had always wanted to go into cartfish business because of the endless opportunities that are in the business.

Then one day as I was scrolling through the internet, I stumbled on a Facebook advert
about a training on how to start cartfish business using a drum.

As at that time, I was very eager to start this business but all I had on me was just N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira) which cannot even be enough to purchase fish feed talk-less of
purchasing equipment & space to rear the fishes.

Since there is nothing I could do with the little money on me, I then decided to join the
training for a little fee in order to gather knowledge on how to nurse cartfish and then later start the business when I finish from school while hoping to get a space to use by then.

Two months later, I graduated from school and started working so as to raise up capital to start my fish business in a small way by using half of my first month’s pay to start the business and the remaining half to take care of my expenses.

Since I did not have the means to buy fish feeds that will raise them to table size, I started with the little money I have and decided to buy 1,500 fingerlings at N17 each which I intend raising to jumbo size.

Currently, my fishes are now up to 1months (4 weeks) from fingerling doing very well
and in about 3 to 4 weeks from now, they will mature to jumbo size.

Meanwhile, in the next 3 weeks, the fishes that are growing rapidly {sharp shooters} will be sorted out and available for sale to farmers that needs it, while the remaining ones that are not growing will be used as feed for the other fishes.

Also by the end of this month, I will start hatching in the small space I just got so that I
can nurse to fingerlings stage and sell to farmers & those that wants to start rearing cartfish.

From now on, I will be posting updates here to let you know the progress on my farm.

This is my humble beginning of starting small in my cartfish business.

Meanwhile, you can contact me so I can book you down to get the best of my fishes.
