Mr David Edijala, a young innovative Nigerian entrepreneur, has launched Zinger, a fin-tech startup to ease payment hassle for Nigerian businesses and individuals. The Abuja-based startup is revolutionizing the payment industry with their unique solution that helps business owners make, receive, monitor and keep tabs of payments easily and in a cost-effective manner.

Zinger, which has already started pre-launch operations, already serving more than 2000 businesses, is set to expand operations to the rest of Nigeria, with an official launch on the 29th of June 2022. In partnership with the CEOs Network Africa, the new fin-tech company’s launch will hold at the “Evening With The Network” event at Transcorp Hilton Hotels Abuja.

Speaking on the vision of the company, the CEO, Mr David Edijala, said, “Businesses lose a significant amount of money as a result of inadequate payments methods on a daily basis. Zinger provides a stable structure which can be trusted by businesses to foster all-round growth. Zinger was created to ease payment processes, making it cheaper, more efficient, and faster. Zinger aims to be the number one payment platform in Nigeria, Africa, and the world.”

Zinger seem to be tackling a challenge that many Nigerian businesses have been facing for a long time. This explain the massive adoption that the platform has received within the short period they have existed. Speaking on the progress that the company ha made so far, Mr David said, “We currently have schools and other businesses using Zinger as their major payment partner. In less than 5 months, Zinger has processed over 40,000 transaction running close to 100 million Naira. This proves that Nigerians and Nigerian businesses have a dire need for an effective payment solution and Zinger has been designed to be that effective payment solution.”
