Holy Ghost came in the name of the Lord Jesus, sent by the Lord to the Church, and to those who will receive Jesus.

He came to deliver us into the realities of God.
He came to save us from weaknesses.
He came to deliver us from errors.
He came to save us from lies.
He came to deliver to us special packages from God.
He came to save us from being with the rest of the damned etc.

Every believer has the Holy Ghost resident in them, or they wouldn't be Christ's.
If that is not so ; why then do we quote that our body is the temple of the Holy Ghost, in telling the saints to abstain from sexual immorality?

1 Corinthians 6 : 18 - 19

There is more we need to know, and the Holy Ghost is come to deliver us into the truth, and save us by navigating us out of ignorance.
Therefore the need to engage Him consistently.
