I bought satchet peanuts manufactured by a popular company today and one of them contained a piece of hard stone. I was chewing and found a very hard one so I bit very hard and got it out when I could not crush it. The stone is still slightly coated but I have not contacted their customer service.

Its likely to be a mistake. Though I Dont know if it human or machine fault but I'm sure it wasn't intentional.

I also don't think it was intentional but what if the stone ended up in the mouth of a baby? Human or machine error, they need to be very careful with production.
