Araboy, I know the alphabets and the vowels like tha back of my hand. In fact I sometimes use arabic to express thoughts in english. I'm on phone and can't use the characters but for instance to say "how are you" in english I write the ajjami using How - Ha with Wow, fatha punctuation on Ha, silent on Wow (HAW). Are - Alif with Ra, silent on both (AR). You - Ya with a damma punctuation (YU). I can use the characters to communicate in Yoruba. What I "need" to learn is the arabic tongue. |
