As most of the world stood with Ukraine in it's valiant fight against Russia aggression since 24 february,one of the main outcomes is the Ukraine's formal status as a candidate for EU membership,which is set to be granted soon.Mechanism has been on for Ukraine to march into Europe,right from Ukraine's independence from soviet union in 1991.Now,Russia most recent invasion has sparked an anti-Russia and pro-European favour for Ukraine.In order for Ukraine to join the EU,it must fulfil the conditions of the copenhagen criteria which demand stable democratic institutions,the rule of law and a functional market economy. 1 Like |

You see those criteria, it will take Ukraine another 50 years to fulfil them. A stable institution when all opposition politicians are being rounded up and political parties banned. The rule of law doesn't play in Ukraine after what they did to Donbas for 8 years with the help of their neo-nazi arm.
