All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu has received the backing of top Yoruba Nollywood actors for the 2023 elections.

Naija News reports that Veteran actor and movie producer, Yinka Quadri confirmed this in a barely two minutes video he posted on his Instagram page.

Other veterans and movie producers spotted in the campaign video include Adebayo Salami, Jide Kosoko, Taiwo Hassan, Fausat Balogun, Saheed Balogun, Femi Adebayo, Fathia Williams, Murphy Afolabi, Eniola Ajao and others.

The actors hailed the former Governor of Lagos, stating that it was his turn to become Nigeria’s next president. Using Tinubu’s popular slogan ‘EMI LOKAN’, the actors urged every Nigerian to cast their vote for the ace politician.

According to them, Tinubu is the best fit for the position and would make the country better if elected come 2023.

“I, Alhaji Olayinka Quadri pledge my support for BAT not because I was paid to do so but because of Asiwaju support and influence to all and sundry over the years. Majority of actors who venture into politics today do so because of the influence of Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. By God grace, Asiwaju will move from Jagaban of Lagos to Asiwaju of Nigeria. For all your sacrifices, for all your effort, God will reward you this time…. If we look at the rotation of leaders in Nigeria over the years, it is very crystal clear it is Yoruba turn to be president. BAT, Eyin lol kan (you’re the next)”, the actor said.

He captioned the video: “Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a bridge builder across regional, ethnic and religious lines that is capable of uniting the country. We have identified him as an exceptional manager of resources and a seasoned administrator and we are convinced that the nation needs him in the next dispensation.

“We have discovered a man who is ready to sacrifice all he has for his fatherland…the least sacrifice we can make is to let the whole country see the Leadership we have seen, feel the compassion we have felt; and move the maker of modern Lagos (Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu) to the moulder of a greater Nigeria.

“Nigerians, we need to rise and give Tinubu an unequivocal charge: to springboard Nigeria into a growth phase several leaps ahead, the way Lagos State — under his guide— left the launch platform two decades ago, has stayed the positive course and is now the 5th biggest economy in Africa (rated as a nation). We must not fail to give this indefatigable leader with such an audacious spirit, a creative instinct and a striking mission a clear mandate to make the biggest difference possible to our collective trajectory of growth and development as a nation. What would it take? Our massive turnout and count of votes in the 2023 presidential election.

“Show me a man with bigger heart and i will show you Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.”

Freedom of choice. Anybody wey e pain, make e vex vote who him like instead. Meanwhile, only a fool would expect anything less from them. Tinubu has been a consistent pillar of support to the Yoruba movie industry. In relative terms, who is Peter Obi compared to Asiwaju to them??

Tinubu's influence in Yoruba movie sector can never be erased so I expect many of them to support him but in reality, many are still paid for the so called support.

Based on recent PVC registration update from INEC on Monday, 2023 will be hot for Policians... E go tough !!

God bless them all. History will be kind to them for supporting the candidate with the required brilliance, experience, exposure, track record and political will to reset Nigeria.

Tinubu is undisputedly the best candidate in the race. I have absolutely no doubt in my mind that he will tackle most of the problems facing the country and appoint competent Nigerians from all parts of the country to assist him in getting the job done.

Fellow Nigerians, Tinubu is coming. Shared prosperity is coming!

Infact there was a period during the era of Tinubu and Fashola that all these actress always center their movies on promoting Lagos "Eko Oni Baje".

They have benefited immensely from Lagos and they have firsthand record of the development in that state and that is their yardstick for supporting Asiwaju.

Tinubu contributed immensely to their industry by giving grants and if democracy is truly a game of interest, then they are in tune with reality for declaring their support to him.

God bless them.

don't be surprise, the paradigm shift in PVC registration will amount to nothing. Most of the newbies would find it difficult to get their PVC before general election.

I saw people on Twitter and Instagram abusing them, cursing and calling them names because of supporting Tinubu. For God sake, are these people actually okay? Someone that has supported them hugely in their industry. To be honest, these people don't even know who Peter Obi is apart from the online noise they're hearing about him.

These people are only good at trying to make people feel bad for not supporting their own and people are falling for this crap. Fire God sake , has the so called Peter never ruled a state before? Has the so called Obi never become a vice to a known thief and Fulani.

Please let's stop deceiving ourselves. Goodluck Jonathan look more gentle and innocent than this and he later became a collosal failure. If you believe your candidate is good, support him and not curse others, people (especially the stupid and unstable ones) are now scared of supporting who they believe in because of the fear of being bullied.

Of course, who did you expect them to support before?
Tinubu is a Yoruba project, Atiku and Obi are national projects.

The only people supporting Tinubu are SWtners, he has chased away other southerners from voting for him because of his armies of tribalistic bigots here.

And you can be sure as hell that the northerners won't vote him, when there's Atiku and Kwankwaso to choose from.

When a Yoruba man supports a Emi Lokan drugs baron to be the president, Jagabandists will call him a nationalist but when an Igbo man supports his own the same Jagabandists will call him a bigot.

I’m actually talking to people with brains.

People who are in their 30’s, 40’s and 50’s. Who labour and labor just to go queue at a filling station tonight to buy fuel just to only burn it for electricity…

I’m talking to people who are fed up with the current norm of being a Nigerian..

I’m talking to people who are starting day and night just to get crumbs to buy drugs for their kids.

I’m talking to people with actual sense….

I’m talking to people with human sympathy, knowing families are being displaced everywhere you go due to insecurities…
