Extended/ Virtual RAM is not exactly new technology, It’s been around in different shapes and forms in computers and on some phones (before SSD drives, you could plug a USB stick into your computer and use the USB as a RAM) It made your computer handle a little bit more task without force closing other programs depending on the available size on the stick. And that is exactly what Extended does on your phone, it doesn’t make your device faster, that’s what your CPU is for, it only gives your phone a lit bit more pocket to hold additional apps. If your device lags and hangs during normal usage or gaming, it will still lag even with the extended thingy.
last week Friday; I was seated on my chair with my boss playing Efootball on my phone and this customer with a huge smile on his face, approached me and said ‘can you send that game to my phone, I just bought it?’- I look from this customer’s face to the phone in his palm and I just smile. My boss looks at me and asks, ‘what’s wrong?’ in pidgin actually. I ask the customer what (sparky) is that and he replied 8 with a smile. I glance at my boss and I can see him trying very...very hard to stifle a laugh.
Good old TRASHION (you know the company) advertises the technology as a big thing, fact is; It’s not. The (sparky) 8 features a helio p22 (a four year old, low end processor) 64gb of storage and 2 GB of RAM with this extended nonsense and costs upward of 70k in physical retail stores; hmmph... Talk about ripping customers off. How are they doing this? Let me tell you; They make a 2gb Ram phone like the sparky above and paste EXTENDED RAM on it to appeal to their customers.
Know this and know peace, if you bought this phone, it has 2 GB of RAM- 2 sir, do not think of it as 4 (The extended thingy should be a feature you can toggle at will not and should not be main seller) and possesses a very weak, old processor. IF you are a gamer, you will cry if you try to run a heavy triple A game on it. And remember the cost? The only sparky that I can say is worth your hard earned money is the pro (not the P) and factually speaking, that’s you agreeing to be cheated. You can get even better devices for its price.

Be wiser; don’t fall for this bull crap. If you want to get a true 4gb or whatnot RAM device, save up and get it; if it possesses extended RAM, it should be a side feature and not advertised as a big big thing, don’t compromise dear sir/ma.

Nice writeup. Though I use tecno spark 7p with a 4gb ram and a Helio G70 processor, I can boldly say it runs efootball 2022 very well. I wasn't expecting much from d device, buh It beat my expectations. However, there are oda better devices.

Y'all should stop the attack on transsion devices, they really don't deserve it, been serving Nigeria well over for a decade, brought android devices down to the middle and lower class, you can't blame them for how messy Nigeria's situation is. Blame your leaders hence the reason why some of devices seems a bit pricey.

Their devices are reliable and will always be, the only device that can possibly seat above them in terms of affordability and reliability is Xiaomi, no device comes closer. Given as late Xiaomi have become expensive.
