My daughter completed my Visa application for me and could
not get the passport photo uploaded.

Embassy had retrieved the application and no way to upload the
right passport which I have gotten now.

Now, I heard, they will turn those with unloaded passports back, but
on the confirmation they asked me to bring 5cm X 5cm passport to the interview.

Those knowledgeable in this, please advise.

I will believe more of what they wrote officially than what people said. If the confirmation page asks you to bring the two passport pictures, then so be it.

They asked me to bring photo and still said they won't entertain those with unloaded photo.
i thought they should not have accepted the application if they would not entertain applications without photo.

What is the experience of those with this issue who were in the embassy recently?

Fill another DS -160 before your interview date
Get the right passport requirements then upload it on the new ds form.
